“We just did a catered event for our office. About 20 people. Got $400 worth of food from Smokehouse BBQ. Brisket, pork BBQ, smoked chicken, BBQ chicken, collards, cole slaw, baked beans , Mac n cheese. It was an absurd amount of food and everything was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone was raving about it and taking home extras. My wife and I even used the extra brisket to make quesadillas tonight. This place is not a home run. It is a grand slam.”

“This place always has the best pizza!! They have the daily favorite (like chees, pepperoni and supreme) and then they feature something special. Today we had chicken cilantro and then we tried the eggroll pizza. Both of them were so good. The crust is always light and crispy. This is definitely our favorite pizza place.”

“Great ice cream for the area, not the best I've ever had but it really is good. The ice cream is pretty heavy and there's none of those little chunks of ice to mess with the consistency. Servings are pretty large and cones are tasty. I do think that some of the fruit flavors could use some actual fruit chunks mixed in but that's more personal preference.”

“This was from my third visit to Botanic cafe and I can't say enough great things about this local coffee shop. The location is next to a ton of local businesses and brings something truly artisan to Leonardtown. I am a vegetarian and am never disappointed by their rotating options and delicious staples. The coffee is the best in town. They have creative options and classics and they are all well made.I will say this is not a fast service spot - and for the quality you are just fooling yourself if you expect it to be. The warm interior and pastry case offer plenty to enjoy while you wait. Please give this local business a try next time you are in the area.”

“Seriously, one of our favorite places. They are so welcoming and nice. They have everything from sweet fun wines to serious dry wines. Lots of variety with food trucks, or you can bring your own food. The enclosed patio has heaters if the weather is cool, and they are pet friendly. During our last visit with our two corgis, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and even gave little dog treats to our fur babies. We will continue coming back, not just for the service and ambience, but for the wide variety and high quality of their wine.”

“This is one of those hidden jem places for great home cooking style food. Incredible view of the harbor from the outside tables. Just talk to the bartenders for transient slips. They make you feel like a regular by time you leave. This pirate will certainly stop again when visiting Cobb island!”

“Ver unique dining experience. House has a lot of history converted into a restaurant. Different rooms upstairs and downstairs are sectioned off for dining or private events. Diverse menu includes handhelds and fork and knife. Great service and delicious food.”

“I had the berry crepe, a double espresso, and two dark chocolate hazelnut candies. Service was great, and I was encouraged to come back. I definitely will. I moved here from the west coast and miss the personal coffee shops, as well as crepes that aren't an hour away from me. Veteran owned is a bonus. Delicious!”

“If you are into good Mexican food without all the fancy restaurant show this is the place. Make sure you come hungry. The service was quick and friendly and the. Portions were huge. I got the La Tampiquena which came with 2 steaks smothered with poblano chilies, and onions and with a cheese enchilada. No way I was going to be able to finish it.”

“This was an amazing little place to lunch with with a friend in Leonardtown. No pictures taken of food because we were so absorbed in the smells, the conversation and the quaint atmosphere. “While the decor is a bit dated, the food is pretty damn good for a golf course bar. Service CAN be a bit spotty due to crowd vs. staffing for the day, but everyone is nice and very accommodating. We go back repeatedly.I recommend the fried chicken sandwich fries. Somehow, they've recreated the classic McDonalds french fry before they changed the recipe.”
