“Positives: crab Rangoon and sweet and sour sauce were really good, general tsos good but good be crispier, I liked the egg roll, lunch special price was good and service easy and fast, I like that the lunch special comes with free soup or canned drink, the flavor of the egg drop soup was pretty good but the flavor was a bit different than what I’m used too and a lot of green onions in it.

Negatives: fried rice was awful and flavorless (I knew when I saw it was yellow that it would be bad). I asked for my general tsos chicken to be spicy and it was not at all“

“Food was excellent, we heard the about the “shrab cake” and had to try it. It did not disappoint. Fries, cole slaw, Mac and cheese were a favorite too. We can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu.“

“We used to live in the area and fell in love with House of Cheesesteak. Now that we’ve moved away, it’s become a must-stop whenever we’re even remotely close to Clinton, MD. We’ve literally driven all the way to Philly in search of a great cheesesteak before … but once we found House of Cheesesteak, we realized there’s no need to go that far anymore. Honestly, their subs are even better than what we had in Philly!

The bread is always fresh, the meat is perfectly seasoned and tender, the portions are generous, and everything is made with real care. The flavors are out of this world. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite.

We recommend this place 1000% …… if you’re anywhere near the DMV, do yourself a favor and make the trip. House of Cheesesteak is THAT good. 🙌🔥🥖💯“

“This was my first time there. The waitress took forever to come take our order. When had been there about 30 minutes before the other people who sat at our table came and she started taking their order before ours. I ordered some bacon and cheese fries and they were awful. Put them in the oven to melt the cheese so cheese was hard and fries were dry.“
