“We ate outside otherwise the noise level likely would have been higher. Service was excellent throughout. I went knowing what I wanted. The vegetarian options are limited but excellent. I had the black lentil bolognese after sharing the guacamole toast (the guacamole is plentiful on top of the toast). The “indulgences” are always a perfect treat at the end, never overkill like desserts often are.“

“Nadia was PHENOMENAL. Incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the menu, warm aura and such a joy throughout our lunch. Impeccable timing and always checked on us at the perfect moment. She made special accommodations to my order and surprised us with a sweet treat for our special occasion. We were in the patio and it was perfect time at 3:30 before the happy hour rush, which was still a pleasant vibe with increased guests on site. Host stand was kind enough to push our reservation back as well to accommodate traffic! This is my new hidden gem of a place for a great meal, view, and backdrop that appreciates nature!“

“food and wine were good but the noise level in the one room where we were seated was way too loud. Particularly after one loud group joined, we could hardly hear each other talk, although we were across the room. They need to add some acoustical panels.“

“We had the most delicious dinner this evening! Our server, Lorri, was very attentive and so personable. The food was simply outstanding! We had the calamari, fried cauliflower and whipped ricotta appetizer. All were so delicious and the presentation was lovely. For dinner, we sampled the burger, chicken Marsala, and Porchetta. Each was unique and so tasty. We finished with homemade raspberry sorbet and the somores dessert which were both very yummy. The cocktails were also very good! I can’t believe we didn’t find this “gem” earlier!!!! We can’t wait to come again!!!“

“I made a reservation for my Hubby's birthday dinner.

This establishment was easy to locate, provided free parking, very clean, and had great tv's for sports viewing.

We were seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by Adam.
Adam had a great personality larger than life!!

Great recommendations, fantastic flow of food, and perfect for our party of 13.

Each and everything was great, except a double shot ordered at the table. It was smaller than a single shot. We didn't want to make a scene, so we dealt w it. But never again.

Overall, it was a great visit!

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Walrus as usual. Their shucking raw bar is the best. Seafood is always fresh and delicious. Their staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Aaron was no exception. We went for Chesapeake Oyster week and half price on raw bar Tuesday so we enjoyed a great meal at a fantastic price. Highly recommend, going back real soon.“

“The restaurant is great for a casual night out. My steak was a bit over cooked but still tasty and was a great value for the set menu price. At first, I was a bit surprised at the small plate set in front of us. I was not expecting a second helping of the same plate to arrive after we finished the first!“

However, when it comes to the food, I’d say it was just okay. Nothing I’d send back, but also nothing that made me want to rave or insist someone else try it. I went on a Saturday morning for breakfast, so maybe lunch or dinner would be a different story. I’d absolutely return, if only for the ambiance and experience.“
