“Cute, no frills neighborhood place. we got there super early at 5 and were the only customers there.
The food was good and fresh, kids had chicken shawarma platter and husband had the Ruben sandwich, I had the gyro special. My favorite of everything was the garlic sauce.

My husband and I have keep it in regular rotation alongside China Bistro (Mama's Dumplings), and Sichuan Jin River. Becky and Wendy are incredibly hospitable, and the food is consistently spot-on. We especially come for their authentic Szechuan and Cantonese dishes — always flavorful, always satisfying. A must-try! Generous portions deliver excellent value at a fair price.“

“I have nothing but good things to say about Gourmet Asian Bistro (7224 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855). It offers Chinese, Thai, and sushi. I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and it's been excellent every time and affordable! The vegetable tofu soup ($2.95) is huge, satisfying, and full of veggies. The wonton soup ($2.95) has 3 good sized wontons. Both soups come with a bowl of tastier-than-average fried wonton strips on the side that I end up munching on during the entire meal. The sizzling black pepper beef ($16.95?) was tasty, but I was more impressed by the noodle dishes. The beef chow fun ($14.95?) and the Singapore mei fun ($13.95) were beautifully seasoned and cooked perfectly. I've also gotten the salmon nigiri ($5.95?) a couple times, and it's generously portioned and fresh with great quality salmon. Every meal ends with a complimentary tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream and fortune cookie. There are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in MoCo, but Gourmet Asian Bistro is my current favorite for best flavor and value.“

“The cauliflower taco on the sprouted grain tortilla is a little messy but so worth it. Kale is much better than what normally comes on a taco, and the flavor doesn’t overwhelm as kale is known to do. From the sauces, there is a good heat which was a nice surprise the first time. My favorite item on the menu which also has other great items!“

“This restaurant is great. My wife and I have chose this over Pho Nom Nom but yesterday was a disappointment. Advertised to close at 7p, we walk in at 6:40p to say the kitchen is closed. 20 mins is enough time to put soup together for us eat it and leave. That being said, we were really craving some pho and we found Pho 81 in Germantown. They close at 8p and I hate to say I will chose Pho 81 over BooBoo Pho because it was beyond delicious and it was a slight bit cheaper.“

The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. “My daughter recently moved to the area. After a long day of cleaning and unpacking boxes we ordered pizza for dinner. This is the BEST pizza! The crust was perfect. It was not greasy. “We had a great experience at Delhi Spice in Bethesda. The food was absolutely delicious — we tried the Delhi Papri Chaat, Paneer Makhani, Fig Kofta, Daal Tadka, Onion Kulcha, and Garlic Naan. Every dish was full of authentic flavor and cooked to perfection.

The staff was very accommodating. We mentioned we had kids with us, and the gentleman taking our order made sure their food came out first — really thoughtful service!

Parking is a bit challenging in the area, but we parked in the Giant store lot behind the restaurant, which worked out fine.

My husband comes here about once a week and he is always happy to see Eric working because he does the best salad chopping and makes sure every customer he serves is happy with their bowl. Edit - My one qualm is that one time, my partner ordered a burger and while two of our burgers came out, he had to wait nearly 45 minutes for his. I’m still going to come back, but that was a bit surprising and disappointing and I hope that doesn’t happen again! I really like the atmosphere!“
