“This is my second time eating at Howard's the first time was through DoorDash and no complaints at all! They listened to special requests even though DoorDash does not allow that on the app, when I called they were very accommodating and removed items from the burritos. We just got our second order and we picked it up. The food was ready at the exact time they said it would be and just as good as the last time we ordered!!“

“My friend and I have been trying Pubs and eateries in the Baltimore area and this one popped up on Trip Advisor. We decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. This is a friendly neighborhood Pub and Grill that screams good food & service. The lady running the grill should be named a grill master with everything she makes. The burgers are at least ¾ of a pound of quality beef and made exactly the way you ask and the fries are freshly cut and prepared. I also had the Jerk Chicken strips, which were delicious (Not the quantity I expected for $12.00) but very good. I saw the wings come out for someone else and they looked good too. The young lady making drinks was exceptional with her knowledge of mixology. I am going to make it a point to bring my neighbor and her boyfriend here next time. I live on the North side of Baltimore city, but this is worth the drive.“

“Wonderful food and drinks, as expected based on past experiences at Le Comptoir du Vin. However, our meal was dampened by the attitude of the bartender the night we visited. Simple requests and questions earned us snarky responses, and we were scolded for resting the drink menu on the bar a certain way. We were walking on eggshells by the end of the meal. I understand that heavy crowds and short staffing make things difficult, but give your customers some grace.“

“Thursday evening was my first time there. We made a reservation and were seated right away. We were there for steamed crabs. Our server immediately put our order in and brought our drinks. Our crabs came out pretty quickly. I can’t say enough about the two ladies that were serving us. They were very attentive but not to the extreme. Both were very friendly. Our crabs were excellent! Not one light crab. We will definitely go back again. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service and a very friendly atmosphere, Bird River Inn is your place to go. “Let me start off by saying I visited this quaint little pub for the first time on 2/25. It's not located in the greatest of neighborhoods but it is well worth the risk of bodily harm to visit. The beer is cold, the bartender was a peach and like a previous reviewer stated, there is even a friendly little fella that lives on a dog bed there. I think he is more of a beer gnome than a hobbit though. He wasn't so friendly at first but once he got a few beers in him he cheered right up. Great place, 5 stars for sure“

This clown decided he was going to assault my daughters mother as she was leaving your establishment & put his hands on her. Then has the audacity to tell her he will smack her while she's on the phone with me. On a better note, I am paying for any information on the gentleman in the picture. Name, address, and I will keep it confidential. This type of behavior from a grown man that can't take no is unacceptable and I need to find him before the police do. Please and thank you. “I go to foleys all the time and I love it there! The wings are amazing and I love all the Guinness combos they have. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a tv in place of the chalkboard that is above the middle of the bar. If you’re sitting in the middle of the bar you have to crane your neck around to watch anything, having a tv there would be awesome!“

“I heard the stories about this place and it had been closed for a couple of years as the hotel it's in underwent renovation and ownership changes but it's back open and I couldn't be happier.

Steve the bartender is currently a one man show and we were there on the weekend it reopened and he was so happy to be back in his happy place. The man is a cocktail maven who loves his craft and what he does and his customers as well.

There is currently no menu here you ask for what you want or can tell Steve what you are in the mood for and he will make something amazing!

I got a smoked old fashioned that he smokes with his own blend of wood and spices and it was easily in the Top 5 of best old fashioneds I've ever had.

“My wife and I were in Baltimore for a wedding and stayed the night. The next morning we found Ale Mary's for brunch, and it was incredible. The prices are so reasonable, the food was delicious and the service was so friendly. We live in Northern Virginia but this place is seriously worth the trip up 95.“

“We were a little surprised to start the evening by ringing a doorbell to get in, but the warm welcome that followed put us at ease right away. The atmosphere is fantastically unique, quirky, and full of character. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and the service was quick.

We ordered the Mac ’n’ Cheese with Jerk Chicken, Yuca Bites, Chorizo con Arroz y Gandules and the Cinnamon Mini Donuts. Everything was perfectly seasoned (especially great if you enjoy a bit of heat like we do). The only downside was that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.

It also looks like they host a lot of interesting events like book readings, sip-and-paints, comedy shows and more. We didn’t get a chance to attend one this time, but it definitely added to the charm and made us want to come back.“

“For a bar on the outside it’s not like a looker but don’t let that steer you away. They have a small food menu but they do it Good. I got chicken tenders and a chicken cheesesteak both were yummy. If you want a cool afternoon drink and lunch with a chill vibe this is the spot. The bar tender Sharon was very polite and sweet and the cook even came out to deliver the food to us. I would highly recommend this bar for budget food and drink for a good buck👍🤟“

“This is a great local bar with a lot of character. You won't find friendlier people anywhere. Classic old school decor inside and on the night we were there, DJs spinning the disks at your request. Wander upstairs and check out the record store while you're there. This is a must hang in Baltimore.“

The food was just as delicious as I remembered, we got the Thai chicken pizza and the dog pound (I think 🤔 It had pepperoni, sausage, chicken it was great) they're beer selection was different than I remember, a few of the house ciders were missing from the menu though it may just be a seasonal thing, Hopefully.
