“The place seems great, and for the amount of food you get for the prices and the quality, this place has quickly topped my top 10 list of preferred dining areas in dundalk. It's small and quaint but still extremely welcoming. My fiancee ordered their meatloaf, he practically described it as to die for along with the mashed potatoes and fries. I, personally, tried the birria tacos. Absolutely amazing for the area!The drinks are pretty good, too! The margarita I had was a little sweeter than I'm used to, but it was still good!The bartender, Erin, absolutely sold the entire experience. She made everything enjoyable. She didn't force any unwanted conversations, but she was still a great conversationalist. She was more than willing to go above and beyond to make a drink that isn't normally made at this place, and she made it very well. During this entire experience, it was decently busy, and she was able to perfectly attend to us as well as the other patrons. Excellent customer service, and I will definitely be coming back. Now I will say parking is a challenge..but rise up to this challenge..be persistent..because once you’re safely parked you will reap amazing culinary rewards. The space itself..it beautifully done..muted colors and comfortable seating seem to say “ sit..get comfortable and get ready for a great time” Our server Michael was a JOY. Just as important as the food, is the service, Michael made sure that we were comfortable, answering all questions and providing excellent recommendations when they were asked for. No one could have asked for a better tour guide to lead our Marta experience..when making reservations..request him..I promise you won’t be disappointed. Appetizers! Tuna Cannoli..if you think you know tuna..I’m here to say NAW! This dish was whimsical and full of flavor. The tuna was fresh and prefect encased in a light cannoli shell..the sesame seeds tied the whole dish together for me perfectly. Beef tartare(my personal favorite) vibrant color and palate pleasing flavors! I like the addition of beets in place of the traditional capers. Even my one friend who hates beets agrees that it brought a great element to this dish. Oysters! Perfectly briny and chilled expertly the pink peppercorn granita was Everything! Entrees: I enjoyed the Agnolotti which was a fall themed plate of warm comfort food! The spiced squash and apple stuffed pasta was so flavorful..but just when you thought it couldn’t get better, BOOM! Brown butter sage sauce! Please do yourself a favor..make your reservation to enjoy this dish before it goes away..you won’t regret it. The risotto my friend enjoyed with the meatballs from the antipasti menu was creamy and honestly had me making my next reservation in my head so I could enjoy it all by myself! Saffron Brodo, Aged Parmesan, bring this dish home! He couldn’t stop raving about the meatballs and I know they must have been great because he didn’t share..lol My dear friend ordered the Panzotti featuring stuffed Duck and Foie Gras! All components of this dish worked together to create perfection! Wine list..well thought out and composed. When our initial choice was temporarily unavailable, cue Nick with a perfect recommendation for an alternative bottle! Desserts..we ordered them all..don’t judge..lol..we couldn’t decided..lol..and you only live once! In addition to ordering them all..you bet the 3 of us finished them all too! My husbands cooking repertoire includes “chicken parm” only yet he suddenly turns into Gordon Ramsey when we eat out & he’s commented no less than 10x how great everything was! He prefers his meat medium rare, which turns out to be a very difficult thing to achieve in baltimore, but we never complain/send back, he usually just saws through the overcooked meat & goes home in disappointment - but not so at Sally O’s!!! I had the duck - which is my favorite thing to order on any menu (I absolutely LOVE duck) and this might be the best duck confit I can remember ever having. Service was impeccable - recommendations, timing, everything. We never had empty drinks, but we were not harassed either. The drinks were chefs kiss - espresso martinis with the brownie sunday: *to die for*.For reference we don’t have kids, and my husband cannot sit home for one weekend to save his life so we often eat out — **OFTEN**. We’ve eaten everywhere in the city. Done a circuit of all the Atlas restaurants, Chef Cindy Wolf joints, independently owned’s, all of them. We ordered the pork chop and the halibut, but everyone got something different. The apps and cocktails were also well crafted and delicious. And our server took our app and dinner orders at the same time to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. There was a never a moment where we were wondering where the food was. “I've been going to Mahaffey's since 2010, at least. It's small but cozy in this establishment with a huge bar on one wall, high top tables opposite, and some regular tables and chairs in the back. What stands out to me about Mahaffey's is their solid craft beer options. It's been like this since I've been a patron, which is great. I love the consistency. The food here is good, despite there not being much space for a kitchen and cooking. Staff has always been attentive and friendly. Nothing not to like here (except Mahaffey's is in Canton and I live in Pigtown and thus don't visit as often as I'd like).“
“Family friendly, service is usually quick and always pleasant. I'm a basic NYC slice kind of gal but my kids like the pizza and the sandwiches are tasty. I recommend asking for dressing on the side for salads and reading through the full description to ensure no topping surprises (like tomatoes and mushrooms on the Buffalo Chicken pizza). We seem to always show up on trivia night so the skeeball is not an option, but we'll make it happen eventually! “I have lived in the area since 2008. I would drive by this place for years and say "I need to stop by there and try that place out!" Well, I finally did in 2023! Great hometown diner spot! It's got a home type of feel, and the restaurant looks like it probably did back in the 1970s! Prices are very reasonable. The food is good! I was surprised that the Burger here is HUGE and has that classic char grilled taste! The Chicken Monterrey is very good! They have a well priced Country Fried Steak. The Cream of Crab Soup here is EXCELLENT when they have it available. Good Sandwiches, and the waitresses refill my Iced Tea without having to ask! :) I come here like every other week now for lunch! Highly recommend!“
“Two guys grill and pub is a consistency tasty and good time. They have amazing eggs Benedict Saturday and Sunday for their brunch til noon, delicious chili during the winter months, as well as great crab cakes, meatloaf, and I honestly can't get enough of their fried pickles. They have karaoke certain nights as well as many TVs with the games on. Overall a reasonably priced place with tasty food and neighborhood feel. The servers are also very friendly and helpful. “This was our second time at OLAR. The service and food is unmatched. Yesterday, Ellie did something a server has never done before. She asked me what drink I was interested in, I explained I want to try all of them but I cannot have Vitamin K due to a blood disorder and autoimmune disease. She asked me some questions about what I can or cannot have and what I liked. Then she said, “ I’m going to make a drink just for you!” She was making my drink and half way through she double checked if I can have egg whites, honey or agave. My heart burst because she really cared! A few minutes later she brought my wife and I our drinks. It was a gorgeous pink drink garnished with pretty flower petals. I think that’s what they were, I ate ‘em as I sipped this cocktail perfection that was safe for me to drink. I had two of these magical pink cocktails. Then as we were closing out our bill Ellie gave me the recipe on a server ticket. “The No K” was written at the top. “When you come back show the bar tender this and we will make it for you!” Y’all, that’s love! “We had the privilege of attending the 'I used to be Irish' Poe house fundraiser tonight at the Annabel Lee Tavern and we were thoroughly impressed and pleased with the entire experience. The drinks were excellent and plentiful, the food was delicious and I cannot even begin to wax poetic about the staff. “My daughter and I started with beer, cocktail and appetizer of bread & butter with cheese which was good, but two medium size slices of bread for $8 is way over priced. We had the house burgers with a salad and french fries, which were very good. We both decided to get milkshakes to go. I got a white chocolate and she got an Oreo shake. They were small, not thick and I have had much better milk shakes. Definitely not worth the $8 a piece. Service was so so, but I believe the waitress was covering the whole restaurant.
