“I have to admit I don't get to Rita's nearly as much as I would like but I am never disappointed when I do go!I went on Mother's Day and redeemed the free small mocha frozen cold brew reward I had and OMG!!! It was SO YUMMY!!!! I'm sad that they are only for a limited time. They just extended it though so go get yourself one! If you don't have the app I recommend downloading that and setting up an account as well because on top of sometimes getting free rewards just because every time you make 7 purchases you then receive a free small Italian ice, frozen custard, or gelati!Back to the frozen cold brew. It wasn't frozen like a milkshake and was a little liquidity but the taste was AMAZING!!!! They are pricey though.“
“Enjoyed our ice cream treat at Dairy Queen. The ice cream was delicious, and the seating area was well-maintained. It did seem like the staff was a bit overwhelmed, possibly due to staffing issues, but it didn’t affect the quality of our dessert. I would visit again.“
“We were too full and didn't get to try the snowball but had a half and half Dole Pineapple + strawberry flavor soft serve and it was great! You can never go wrong with dole imo, and husband loved the strawberry flavor. Price was very reasonable and it was a great pitch stop after a cold beer at the Woodstock Inn!“
“Excellent matcha cafe with delicious and not too sweet desserts. The service was fast and easy. They have kiosks that you can use to order on your own. It feels as though you've stepped into Kyoto yourself with the decorative design in the cafe. It's quiet if you're looking for a place to study or it's a great gathering for friends. Their milk tea boba cake and matcha twist soft serve are so delicious!“
“Great ice cream stand. CASH ONLY but there is a cash machine in the gas station down the street. Diverse menu for a small shop. Try the Double Dunker. Lots of seating (like endless) and a playground that my kids loved as they were growing up. Great farm stand on the circle as well (not cheap but very good) from 9-5 during the summer.“
“Stumbled across this place when I had to make a U-Turn in Glyndon. Some of the best ice I've ever had, very clean (which is important to me), staff is extremely friendly, pleasant and they have given some great suggestions. I call it the Chick-fil-a of Italian Ice.My only suggestion to management: I've mentioned the store to friends and co-workers in the Reisterstown area and only one had heard of Sunset Slush. With the right advertising Sunset really would become the destination in Glyndon. And no, I'm not in advertisinhhh+g.! ?“
“I had a yen for some soft serve ice cream this afternoon, so decided to stop by here after finishing my afternoon rounds. According to Google Maps, I was last here 3 years ago ( Wow! Has it been that long?!) When I walked up to the window, I was greeted by a nice young man who showed me the menu board behind him when I said I wasn't sure what I wanted yet, but wanted to see what flavors they had. I was surprised to see that Soft Stuff offered regular (or hard) ice cream as well as the soft serve version (contains less milk fat, whipped with air, and can be made from a mix). They also have a few other items added to their menu, now, too. Anyway, I ordered a small soft serve in my favorite flavor. Unfortunately, the machine wasn't behaving properly and was offered the choice of an improperly mixed product of my flavor, or one of the basic flavors (vanilla, chocolate, or orange-vanilla(?). I chose to go with chocolate. Although I asked for a small, it was a rather large amount. I guess that's what a small looks like now! It cost about $5.00 plus change. I chose to pay with cash, though they do accept credit cards now.I was talking about all of the changes with this young man since I was the only one there at the time. I found out that the previous owners of Soft Stuff retired about 2 years ago, so the shop has new owners who wanted to build the business with some new items and accommodate people who might not always have cash on them. All in all, it was a very good experience and I thought the ice cream tasted very good. The only disappointment was not getting my favorite flavor because the machine was broken. Oh, well. I'll try again another day when the yen for a soft serve ice cream hits me again!“
“Easily my favorite place for frozen custard/ice cream. I found this place shortly after moving to Maryland six years ago and have been back an embarrassing number of times since. While the classic twist is the standby favorite, blackberry custard with Oreo crumbs or the gelati with mango ice and vanilla custard are equally good.Pro tip: Skip dinner and order a banana split!“
“Great home-made ice cream at a fair price.Parking: Usually able to get close to the entrance. I'm able to make it wherever I need to park. I don't have mobility problems, Thank God.Wheelchair accessibility: Not too difficult to get close to the entrance.“
“Nice place to stop for Italian ice or custard. There are a lot of different flavors for Italian ice and your standard vanilla, twist, and chocolate for custard. Occasionally they will have another flavor of custard. They also have kids sizes, which is not on the menu. The portions are huge, even with a kids size. Can get very crowded but the staff works well to get the line moving.Plenty of parking. And easy to get in and out of the parking lotThere are several tables and benches behind the building as well.Dietary restrictions: There are sugar free optionsParking: Tons of parking!Kid-friendliness: Kids sizes available, just ask. The kids love playing in the back area with other kids“
“Been coming here since I was a child, almost 30 years. Looking forward to them opening up for the season this year.I live a bit further away now so it's harder to make the trip, but on the days I do it is worth it! They make their own flavors and have any flavor you can think of.Only minor thing is that they are cash only. I don't fault them for it. It's just a hassle because I almost never carry cash so I have to stop at an ATM and then have anxiety about making sure I have enough on me after I order.“
“This place would be a great date spot. Farm with outside seating & fire pits. Food trucks & great scooped ice cream. The guys that were working were friendly & helpful as I struggled to decide what to get. I'm looking forward to an excuse to stop here again“
“We stopped by for the first time today, and really enjoyed the ice cream. There are not as many flavors as in some shops, but I like that it is locally made. It was delicious, thick and creamy. I got mint chip and cold brew chip. I especially liked the strong coffee flavor of the cold brew ice cream. Others with me chose soft serve, and liked it. I was surprised to see that there were lots of free toppings available! There are many other local products as well, including bread, jams, dairy, meat, honey, and many other things. Definitely a great stop in Sykesville.“
“LOVE that they have the Red Sour Patch Kid flavor more consistently than other locations. Could probably use another person working there as sometimes the line and wait can be a bit long, but otherwise, happy with the options! Hopefully Key Lime Pie comes back next year!!“
“Best ice cream around, reasonably priced in comparison to similar shops. Many flavors to try before committing. Toppings are free. Waffle cones are fresh and made in store. Wockenfuss chocolate available in store. Good amount of seating both inside and out. The staff is pleasant. Reward cards available.“
