“This is the 4th time I have gotten crabs from Solerno’s Restaurant all 4 times have one dozen of jumbo crabs and I have to tell you they have been the best tasting crabs I have ever had from the Mt. Airy area I usually go to Trouts but they only sell bushels of crabs on the weekends because they are closed Monday-Wednesday. I use to work in crab house when I was young and know a lot about cooking crabs the correct way. Solerno’s takes a lot of pride in the way they cook their crabs you can tell when you get a crab that was either dead when they threw it in the pot or at least near dead when they were cooked. You know when you open the crab and the mustard inside is grayish looking that means the crab was dead when it was cooked. The crabs I have gotten from Solerno’s was bright yellow mustard looking inside the crab you can tell it is very fresh. The meat was very sweet and was not dry very moist. Solerno’s will have all my future crabs buying for sure. Of course when you pay $150 dollars for a dozen crabs they better be top of the line in weight and must be not over cooked to where the meat sticks to the shell and is very dry.“

The wonton soup was a good start and was a good appetizer portion. The shrimp and broccoli was my second course and the shrimp was cooked perfectly accompanied by white fluffy rice. “I gave the Woodbine Inn a high score in the categories listed. However I wanted to make others aware that they apply a 3% fee for using a charge card. I find this appalling on the part of the owners and would probably discourage others from eating there on this basis alone. Most people use credit cards when they go out to eat for ease of payment. If not considered on the expense side of their business suggest the owners go into another business. Appalling and pathetic.“

“This is definitely a fast-casual kind of scenario, but the soup dumplings are sublime! Their dipping sauce is EXACTLY how I remember it being in Shanghai, and it makes a huge difference. You can watch people folding the dumplings. Their vegetable stir fry noodles are really good. My 2 and 5 year old girls love eating here so much they request it as their birthday meals.“

“This has become a local neighborhood favorite. Today I had the 20 piece wing combo. I absolutely love the hot wing sauce, it’s a nice touch and it isn’t too hot to where once consumed your mouth is flaming . The wings were cooked perfectly as well as the french fries. This was my first time trying this restaurant and it seems I’ll be back . Thank you all for the hospitality and hot food.“

“Excellent homemade dumplings! Skip the appetizer scallion pancake - no flavor and just order dumplings. The variety dumpling item is great to get one dumpling of each kind. While waiting can get tea or milk drink as the two places are connected inside. Plenty of seating.“
