““Simply the best“ is the quote I think of when I think of Chopsticks! I discovered this restaurant 10+ years ago when we lived in Elkridge. If anything, the food has gotten better. Every entree that we ordered was top-notch. Chopsticks catered an event at my church. The food was great, and is great now. Eating out is way too expensive nowadays to waste your money on food that is subpar. Choice Chopstix!!!!!“

“Asian Burmese Kitchen was fantastic. I grew up on burmese food and have only learned to prepare oh mo khao swe. Have been craving mohinga (mote hing karr at the restaurant) and atho (nje thoke at the restaurant). Its been 6 years since I last went home and ate these two dishes. I ordered Mote Hing Karr (my choice) and the chicken burmese noodle dish (the waiter’s choice). The chicken noodle dish arrived first and immediately the smell took me back to Trichy’s street stalls. The noodles were served with fresh limes, a sour:tangy cabbage slaw and delicately flavored thin chicken stock. The sharpness of the acidic sides cut through the very savory noodles and balanced the palate.

But the true star of the show for me was the Mote hing karr!! A perfect representation of what homemade bowl of hearty and delicious soup should be! I especially loved that they served it with the crackers (made with peas) and bejo (egg)! For people who need heat! they also give you 3 complementary chilli accompaniments to alter the spiciness as desired.

The portions were huge!!! So we took some home and I am already dreaming about eating another soup stock soaked bite of the banana stem in the very authentic Mote Hing Karr!

Prices are very reasonable, the restaurant and kitchen were clean, bright and well-maintained. Plenty of parking in front and back of the restaurant. I stopped next door and picked up more crackers and tamarind concentrate for home.“

I was drawn in bc the owner offered me a sample of the chicken while I was walking around the food court and I had to get it. Got back and gave my mom a sample of the same chicken and she turned right around and got an order of her own, hahaha“

“Interesting enough this was the first restaurant that I tried when visiting Lexington Market. There was a lot of choices within the market, but what stood out about Dragon Bowl to me was the long line which told me that the demand was there versus other food spots. I wasn’t disappointed at all and since my initial visit, I’ve came back at least 3 additional times and even brought my niece to join which she fell in love with the restaurant as well. The food was fresh and the service was quick just how I like it. They give a nice size portion of food and I think it was extremely affordable. When standing in the line some customers told me that I made an excellent choice because they visit daily on their lunch break.

I’ve seen other reviewers discussed this and I felt the same way but, it wasn’t enough for me to not give it 5 stars. However the inconsistency wasn’t fun, because my first visit I received yum yum sauce but then in future visits they don’t have it. Extremely disappointed but the food is still great without it. I’ll be back.“
