About Syriana Cafe & Restaurant

Syriana Cafe & Restaurant is a charming and well-kept establishment located in an old building in Old Town Ellicott City. The atmosphere is quaint and the service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The menu offers Mediterranean classics like tabouleh, falafel, and hummus, all of which are delicious. The iced tea is a standout, tasting homemade and refreshing. Customers often enjoy the variety of seating options, whether they prefer a view of the main street or a cozy corner. The restaurant is known for its outstanding Syrian food, including popular dishes like chicken shawarma, baba ganoush, and falafel wraps. The food is flavorful, not greasy, and feels healthy, with many praising the organic qualities of the hummus. The restaurant's location in the middle of Old Ellicott shopping street makes it a convenient spot, though parking can be a bit tricky, with options for parallel parking or free parking at the beginning of the street. Despite some slow service due to the multi-floor setup, the young staff handles a full restaurant with a fantastic attitude, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Syriana Cafe & Restaurant continues to be a favorite for quick, delicious lunches and satisfying Mediterranean meals.

This is my new favorite place to eat in Ellicott City! First of all the food is incredible. Their story is incredible! The ambiance was absolutely lovely. They had live musicians who were extremely talented and added a tone that was fun and enjoyable but not at all overwhelming or...read full review

Excellent food, fresh, not a huge amount.

This was an unexpected dining experience. I am of Arab descent and take my arabic food very seriously. The food variety, quality, taste and prices were amazing. It was definitely homemade food. THe ladies in the kitchen are cooking things just right!! When I am back in the area, I will be stopping by!
