My husband brought me here for our anniversary and it was absolutely phenomenal. It’s located in gorgeous historic Ellicott City and the atmosphere is romantic and intimate. The staff were attentive and professional…but the meal itself was divine. We had a 6 course meal and every single bite was a melt in your mouth happy dance. The fixed-price menu may be pricey, but it is a culinary adventure with multiple courses, including escargot, shrimp provencal, and filet with Au Poivre sauce. The restaurant's commitment to quality has earned it a loyal following, with many considering it the top dining destination.
The recent pivot to a Prix Fixe Tasting Menu has been a great success, available four nights a week with two seatings each night and a limited number of guests, resulting in a delicious dinner experience. The 6-course Chef's menu consists of soup, salad, fish, lamb, beef, and dessert, all French dishes from the Brittany area, superbly prepared, sauced, and seasoned. The menu changes weekly.
The Tersiguel family has upheld the "country French" (Breton) tradition for decades, maintaining their fabulous food, wonderful staff, and welcoming atmosphere even through challenges like floods and lockdowns. Guests have enjoyed special events and spur-of-the-moment visits, often praising the delightful waitstaff and warm ambiance.
