“If you love a dive bar that you can boat to, this is your place. A little gem in Essex. We made the trip from Middle River for crabs last week and had a great time. Had a dozen large’s and some wings. We ate inside at the bar area since we arrived just as the sun was setting. The cook was gracious, service was great, crabs were excellent. We will absolutely return!!! Don’t expect fancy…if you go there with that in mind for anyone in your crew, you will be surprised. But, if you go with dive bar in your mind, you will be most excellently surprised and happy!“

“7-8-22 went to two guys for the 5th time tonight and I have to say everything we have ever gotten is delicious… tonight they had Kareoke so we did a smorgasboard of appetizers for the table of 3 crab dip coconut shrimp bruschetta shrimp toast onion ring tower rock fish bites it was to die for great food great service great crushes great atmosphere can’t wait to go back ?❤️??“

“My boyfriend and l stumbled upon this place just wandering the city with no real plan! We followed the elevator and up to the bar restaurant. Such a classy establishment and atmosphere. We met the bartenders who were so nice to us, and the main chef/cook came out and also chatted with us. The food was delicious and so was the dessert. They definitely took care of us while we visited. Thank you for a nice meal and conversation! If this was in our town we would be regulars. We will visit this establishment again in Baltimore city.“

“Thursday evening was my first time there. We made a reservation and were seated right away. We were there for steamed crabs. Our server immediately put our order in and brought our drinks. Our crabs came out pretty quickly. I can’t say enough about the two ladies that were serving us. They were very attentive but not to the extreme. Both were very friendly. Our crabs were excellent! Not one light crab. We will definitely go back again. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service and a very friendly atmosphere, Bird River Inn is your place to go. Their food prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge!“

“I was out running errands and instead of going for fast food or other popular restaurants, I went to this bar because they had corned beef and cabbage on St Patrick's day which was awesome so I tried their spaghetti and meat sauce. It took a while to get waited on, food was was good. The sides they listed on menu board were extra cost and do not come with your meal which I thought was odd. They didn't have any parmesan cheese for my meal which I missed having. They have plenty of tv's to watch the O's. Pool tables,shuffleboard, several beers on tap. I will go back because I try to support local bussinesses. I think I caught them on an off day thus the reason I gave 4 stars.“

“The server named Rain was the best server I ever had. Her personality was so fun and joyful.. She made sure that we were happy and that we had an amazing time. Her mock tails were delicious... Just the right amount of ginger and lime over that crushed ice.... mmmm We loved the food and it came just in time... The food was hot and tasteful... Prices were reasonable... Our server came back to check on us to make sure we were good. 5 stars.....Rain deserves a big raise.. Her service is worth it. She made the experience.. “Awesome biker bar. Lots of ambience and Joey was an excellent bartender. And cook! Ordered some sandwiches for 4 people and a handful of beers and stuff. Food came out and was really good, and the beers were ice cold. No drafts. Would love to come back on a bike and check it out when it’s busy. The outside area has a large overhang to stay out of the sun. Pool table inside. Very classic looking biker bar. Memorial outside was very sweet.“

The rockfish bites at the LB Tavern are off the hook good.....some of the best fried seafood I've ever had. But that's just the beginning. “It really does not get any better than this! We arrived at 6:00 PM to enjoy Half Price Burger Night at the Rec Room. We were warmly greeted by Kelly. My husband had his favorite – a blue cheese burger with French fries. My brother and I decided to go big and order the Black n Blue Burger. He had his blackened – I had mine plain. Both were topped with melted Bleu Cheese Crumbles, Sautéed Onion, Mushrooms and Roasted Red Peppers. We both decided on Sweet Potato Fries with our burgers. The burgers we ordered were cooked and prepared to our specifications and were delicious. The fries were crispy, not greasy, and seasoned perfectly. Both Kelly and Rich took excellent care of us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Burger Night at the Rec Room.“
