“Fantastic. All the dishes have a home cooked glow, rich flavor, and the feeling of special care. This is some of the best Chinese food I've had in Maryland. I just moved here from Rockville and I was sure I wouldn't find good authentic Chinese cuisine up here. I'm thrilled to be proven wrong. I'm so glad they're here. The restaurant is bright, warm, welcoming, cute, and well decorated. The staff are friendly, attentive, and sincere. We've been here four times in the three weeks since moving to Timonium. I've really enjoyed the Mala Tang, Pickled Napa Cabbage with Glass Noodles, Sautéed Triple Vegetables, any of the handmade dumplings and buns, Northeastern Eggplant in Black Bean Sauce, and Braised Beef with Potatoes. The dumplings are tender and beautifully flavored. I can't wait to try everything on the menu!“

I've had a little bit of of everything on the menu and every single thing I had isn't just a good version of that dish it's some of the best around, especially the walnut shrimp and general tsos chicken. We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

Everything was perfect, even parking wasn’t a challenge!

The atmosphere was calm like a coffee shop, the music wasn’t too loud. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I ordered the egg and scallion fried rice, Kung Pao Chicken, pork soup dumplings, Mongolian beef with scallions, BBQ Bao Buns, a hot yuzu citrus tea, and a passion fruit green tea

All teas and drinks are made to order. I was able to customize my tea which I loved. I’m a Type I diabetic so when I go to restaurants I usually can only order a Diet Coke or water. I ordered this tea without sugar and added stevia.

I am sad because it was the best Cold Sesame Noodles in town and I cannot find any that matched Chen's :(“

“I have ordered from here on more then 6 occasions, and I have to say that out of all the Asian restaurants in the Middle River area this has the best tasting food out of them all. The delivery is fast as well. I can’t say enough about this place. I suggest that everyone try this restaurant at least once. It was ready quickly and they gave us everything we needed including plastic silverware, napkins, soy sauce and sweet and sour. We just moved here so this was so helpful.

All the food was delicious, we got kung pao chicken and general tso chicken with shrimp and vegetable egg rolls. The kung pao chicken was my favorite!

I sometimes get the crab Rangoon; I like the inside, but the outside gives me the pre-made ones they put in the freezer until someone orders it. “Oriental Wok was an awesome Asian Restaurant we recently found on Buttermilk Pike in Northern Kentucky. It's a very elegant looking place with chandeliers and very nice looking decor and carpet everywhere. Despite how expensive looking the place is the prices for the food were very reasonable (at least for lunch when we were there.) We started with some Crab Rangoon which was some of the best I've ever had (them or Lin's in Cleves). For my main course I got the Sesame Chicken with fried rice and an eggroll. All of it was high level with eggroll being particularly delicious. The service was top notch as well rounding off a superb experience. We'll definitely be back and often.“
