“I had a taste for some soul food & found this place. I read the reviews & decided to give it a try. Oxtails were ok but not as good a reviews led on, country baked beans with meat very good, Pork baby back ribs were excellent, collards were ok, chitterlings were very clean. I didn't care for the fried cabbage (Mines was burnt) nor the potato salad. The Macaroni and Cheese had no flavor (I didn't even eat it). The sweet potato pie 🥧 was excellent and a good portion size. Overall, customer service was excellent, atmosphere was wonderful, however, for the price point the portion size was small for the meals IMHO. For three (3) platters and one (dessert) I paid $70.47.

I would try them again but I won't get the Oxtails, Fried Cabbage, Potato Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, nor the Chitterlings.

I love to support our local businesses and I loved the atmosphere and personnel I interacted with; I'd be more discerning in my meal choices in the future. But, I'll definitely give them another try.“
