“My first visit here and I was absolutely blown away by every aspect .... the service, attention and graciousness of the staff is well beyond 5 stars. Juanita recommended so many things to help make my experience so enjoyable. The food was outstanding! She recommended the buffet so that I could try several things I was interested in. “I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! “The atmosphere when you come in is akin to an old style Italian eatery. The restaurant feels very comforting and inviting, with wonderful employees greeting you right away. definetly recommend for the food but also the atmosphere and wonderful employee demeanor. 5 stars. p.s. the bbq chicken pizza is amazing, big chunks of chicken and wonderfully crafted.“

“We had a lunch for three today. We had a tuna sushi and Salmon sushi for starters. We also had three ramen noodles bowls and they were delicious! The staff was very friendly and checked in on us to make sure water was refilled, asked how our food was and cleaned up our table. They thanked us for coming as they bid us goodbye. “The Power Lunch Specials menu is a bargain at $17.77. The Meatballs & Polenta are excellent. This is 3/4 of the normal lunch menu portion, but is very tasty & extremely filling. The fried calamari is heavy in batter & needs all the lemon juice you can squeeze onto it. The dipping sauces have a lot of hot peppers in them, & are both really spicy. Penne Caprese is fresh & tasty. lovely lunch. Unfortunately, portion sizes vary from day to day. Ask for a full portion. Fettucine Genovese is extremely flavorful. The rich flavor of the cheese enhances the braised beef--a good dish. The coffee had a nice flavor but was watery. It would be much better if they used more coffee.“

“We stopped by for lunch while we were out on a Sunday motorcycle ride. I got the Sunday pasta special and my husband got a chicken cheesesteak. Neither disappointed... food was delivered quickly with generous portions. I think it is supposed to be counter service, but staff was so attentive it felt like a sit down table service. “After living in the area for 5 years we finally visited Pairings Bistro tonight.
We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and I’m so glad we chose Pairings to do so. The restaurant is quite beautiful , the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the food was amazing. Loved being able to chose between pre fixe 3 or 4 course meals and à la carte for dinner and of course the wine pairing option. With the many choices for lunch or dinner and seasonal menu this is sure to become one of our new go to restaurants. We could go numerous times a month and have something new and exciting each time. “On July 25th I ordered 1 doz. Large Steamed Crabs ($95) from Madonna Seafood. Madonna "used" to be the best place for crabs. They were always consistently seasoned well....that was not the case yesterday. This dozen was completely dried out...they were either VERY overcooked or my guess is they were re-cooked. Definitely not worth $95....please retrain your steaming team or you will lose business. i will be going elsewhere.“

“Food: The food at J’Ville Grille is always delicious. No complaints there - at all!
Atmosphere: Friendly, but it gets SO loud when it is crowded, though... Uncomfortably loud.
Service, however, can be hit or miss. Today I brought my grandsons and daughter-in-law for lunch. We arrived around 12:20 pm and seated ourselves. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy, though there were a good number of patrons. It was clear the gentleman working was handling both the floor and the bar, and was clearly understaffed, yet doing his very best. I was as patient and gracious as possible given the situation.
He took our drink order right away, and we placed the order for the kids right then. Their food came out almost immediately. Unfortunately, our order wasn’t taken until around 12:55 pm, when a younger female employee walked by and I politely asked if she wouldn’t mind taking our order, which she did.
We both ordered the raspberry chicken wrap (delicious!). She asked if we wanted fries with that, and I replied, “Oh, it comes with a side?” She confirmed that it did and verbally stated the side options out loud, but did not mention that any of the options carried an upcharge. Based on that, I chose the onion rings (also delicious!), while my daughter chose sweet potato fries, which were delicious as well — and a MUCH more generous portion than the onion rings, sadly. Did I mention they are delicious? :)
Once we received our food and were finished eating... I had to flag down an older female employee to get our check. I was surprised to see we were charged $4 per side. When I explained the earlier interaction regarding our sides, her response was simply, “Well, it’s on the menu,” delivered with an unnecessary attitude & look on her face like I was to blame. An apology of any misunderstanding and an offer to remove the up-charge, which I would have politely declined, would have been more effective & appropriate considering the cost of 10 slices of onion and one sweet potato... Is that REALLY worth insulting me?
That response, unfortunately, affected the remainder of the experience. I am someone who always tips at least 20%, especially when staff are short-handed and doing their very best, but in this case the lack of courtesy and accountability resulted in a much smaller tip than I normally leave. Truthfully, she's lucky I left one, at all, due to her attitude!
The food is consistently excellent and keeps me coming back. I just hope service consistency — and communication — improves.“

“It was the last day of my fiancé's and my vacation, and we wanted to go somewhere we could sit and enjoy some yummy food and chat. So, we came across a place we had never been to and decided to stop by. We never expected such excellent food, atmosphere, and service from our server, Skyler. We ended up thinking the prices were a bit high, at $ 22.95 for General Tso's Chicken and Shrimp, and $17.95 for the Mango Chicken, as well as $8.25 for the Crab Rangoon. The portions were well worth the price and generous at that! It blew us away with just how good it was, and just how much they gave. We had to take it as leftovers, and they were just as good the next day. Definitely a spot to remember and worth checking out.“

“An unexpected hospital stay changed our plans for Valentine’s Day, but a week later we were able to do carry out. I had the Linguine Primavera with EVOO and my husband had the Chicken Marsala with fettuccine. The meals were fresh, flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Warm soft crusty rolls added to our enjoyment. Portions were so large, it provided a second night’s dinner! This wasn’t our first meal from Acapella and they have always been on point. Will certainly be back!“

“I hosted a corporate dinner party at Boordy last night, and it was my first time being at their facility and getting to experience what they offer. After a miscommunication between myself and the (external) caterer, who was providing food for the event, I was left scrambling to figure out how to accommodate all of my guests in a very short amount of time. Grace and Carly immediately leapt into action and saved the day, no questions asked. They went above and beyond to help out, never once stressing out or making the inconvenience seem like an inconvenience. It was top notch service from both of them all night and extremely appreciated! The wine was wonderful, the space was great and I can't say enough good things about the service. “We used Margherita’s Pizza of Kingsville to cater our daughter’s birthday party and everyone raved about how good the food was! We had chicken parmigiana, Caesar salad and rolls that were all amazing but the absolute hit of the party was the Crab Chesapeake Pasta! It was to die for! There was so many giant chunks of crab meat! And it all just came together perfectly with the sauce! Everyone asked where we got it from and when I was packing up the leftovers, I even had some guests ask if they could take a little bit home too! Highly recommend!“

“We order carry out but my wife said the inside is really clean when she picked up. We both got Pho and an order of Chicken Satay. Bill was $40ish, so a good price and the portions were large for that price. The Pho was awesome and had all the fixings and since we did carry out the containers were all perfectly separated so you could build it your self. The Chicken Satay was really flavorful and was like 2 chicken thighs on each skewer and there was 4 skewers total. Really really great, hate to say it but the Pho could have used some salt or something it was a little bland but I took it as being healthier because of that.“
