“There was food coming off the grill. The food was fresh. We tried the 2 take out boxes of orange chicken, 1 box honey sesame, 2 boxes fried rice and we got the family meal for about 35 dollars. It came in such a cute box too. We will be back. Now if you are cutting back on sugar you may not want to eat. Thanks for everything

“No sitting but oh man, great food, the fold the rangoons correctly. Non of that weird triangle bs. There's real and imitation crab in there. Rice came fresh fried with bean sprouts. Broccoli was also fresh steamed and the sesame chicken was delicious. Def coming back when I visit again.“

“Our three children and their godparents (our best friends) dined at Shi Miao Dao Noodle House to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday yesterday. Every dish served was packed with flavor. After dinner, I mentioned that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and they gave her a complimentary bubble tea. As we were walking out, my son ran back to the table to take two more large bites from his bowl of noodles. This morning, he asked if we could go back for lunch today! When I told my children I was writing a five-star review they shared the following reflections:

Son, age 9: I recommend the golden beef noodles. You should also get the shrimp and beef soup dumplings! Their service was awesome and fast!

Daughter, age 12: I would recommend the golden shrimp rice noodles. It's great if you can't handle a lot of spice and if you like shrimp. I would also say that the soup dumplings are the best I have ever had. The service is spectacular. This is place is the best!

“Dined with my wife and kids and we ordered a variety of dishes because of varying tastes and picky eaters in my family. EVERY SINGLE DISH was incredibly delicious. From the pan-fried dumplings to the chicken fried rice to the Kung Pao Chicken to the Mongolian Beef, everything was cooked to perfection with generous portion sizes. Highest of recommendations. Plus, our server was very professional. Present when we needed her, but not at all overbearing.“

“The food was OK, except you can't serve someone those big chunks of zucchini like that. It's not pleasant. You have to cut them bite size. Zucchini is not the type of vegetables you want big chunks of. Also more variety of vegetables. What happened to snow peas, carrots etc.“

“My daughter and I decided at the last moment on a Thursday evening to eat at PF Chang's. There was a major concert that evening nearby, so we were pleased to get a quick reservation. The portions are very generous for the rice and the spring/egg rolls come in twos. I do wish the fried rice had a little more soy sauce but that was a quick fix at home. I wasn't a fan of the spring rolls; however, the Philly egg rolls were great! I love how clean it smelled upon walking in. It smelled very fresh on the inside. They would take my order (same thing : general Tsos chicken and white rice) within 10 mins before closing several times for me. I was so appreciative….considering they are often open late when everything else is closed. They tried to refuse a cash tip until I said I would never return if they didn’t accept it lol.

Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions I wouldn’t recommend eating Chinese food.

Parking: Parking is limited because there’s so many little establishments but it’s not impossible to find a spot. You just need to pay close attention for one that’s available.

Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn’t want to eat Chinese food? I mean it’s not Chuck-E-Cheese so it’s not a restaurant equipped with a children’s play area. And it’s set up as a quick, come and go. But the food itself is kid friendly.

“We come across town past several other Chinese restaurants to get our carry out here. Excellent quality and portion size, staff is family friendly. Never had an issue that wasn’t resolved without any hassle, and really never had a major issue ever in 20 years. I’ve been a customer at this location since the early 90s“

We ordered takeout, shortly after my husband picked up we received a call letting us know something was missing and they’d deliver it right away. “Love this place! Haven't eaten here for years ever since I moved to another state but I'm glad we came here for dim sum when I was in the area. We arrived 15 minutes before opening time on 11am on a Sunday morning and were almost immediately seated. There were already some people eating. Immediately after being seated, the food carts started coming by with a large variety of steaming hot dishes. Food was steaming hot and delicious! The waiter was very attentive, stopping by often to serve us hot tea, iced water, drop off the soy sauce and chili oil when requested, and pick up the empty dishes. The food carts also came by frequently in case we wanted to get more dishes. By 11:10am there was a line of people waiting for a free table. We finished our meal in record time by 11:30. Excellent service! Will come by again when I'm in the area.

Edit 10/6/24:
Had a severe craving for dim sum after coming back from Europe. Arrived 11:30am on Sunday and was seated pretty quickly. Ordered our favorites: beef stew, siumai, sharkfin, stuffed bean curd, sticky rice, etc. The server for our area was really quick with tea, waters, chili oil, picking up empty steamer baskets and dishes, bringing us any extra food to take home, extra take home containers, and getting our bill at the end. If the envious people at home hadn't put in last minute take home orders, we would have been in and out within 30 minutes.“

“I have been eating from Eastern panada for years my favorite Chinese food the egg foo young gravy is so good.. I drive to Lanham all the time when I am in the mood for Chinese food. The steak and cheese is good also and the combination fried rice and lo mein. The chicken and broccoli is also good and hot.“

“The place could be considered “sketchy” or “scary” depending on your definition, but my family has been coming here all my life and the food has always been decent. I always get the chicken lo mein and have never been disappointed. Their wings are also scarily good for a this type of restaurant.

Prices have definitely gone up and quality has gone down over the years.

“New China Kitchen is the only Chinese take- out we get! This is a family owned business and Jason and his wife are exceptionally kind with a top notch level of service you don’t get anywhere else. They have the BEST crab rangoons in town (the perfect thick flaky fried breading with generous filling), as well as the best wonton soup (their broth is magical, we quite literally drink it when we’re sick or hungover), and their orange chicken is the ONLY orange chicken our 10 year old will eat in the area. You are consistently greeted with a smile, food is prepared fast and is the best around. It truly makes our week to stop in and see them. They will remember you, ask about your children, and have become our friends. They’re huge Ravens fans as well and the men enjoy chatting about it when we stop in.
