“Hands down the best!! The food is so fricking tasty. Every bite of any item on the menu and I've tried all has your taste buds exploding. Everything on the menu is freshly cooked while you wait & worth it. The amount of food and portion sizes that you get per price is unbeatable. The photo of the loaded mac & cheese, was loaded w/plenty of chicken. If you are a spicy daredevil, Hangry Joe's will set your palate on fire. Darrius has the absolute best attitude. Never entered when he wasn't, friendly, singing or smiling and he makes the best milkshakes. This is the Ft Wash MD location but have multiple locations cross the DMV, Jefferson Davis Hwy VA, Crane Hwy MD, Waldorf, MD, etc. I just found one on Duke street in VA. No matter where I am if I see a Hangry Joe's, I'm stopping.“

“Delicious food. My family orders the triple fajita (chicken, shrimp, steak). It's a decent portion and restaurant quality. You will definitely need to order extra tortilla wraps. You get 2 (4 wraps) sets with your order. That's not enough, probably because we're getting all 3 meats . We have to purchase 2 additional sets.“

“Well... you could not finish my 1/2 chicken with a side salad and yuka. This means that the portions are pretty good size. The food was delicious and the service was fast. For 1/2 chicken and Malanesa de polls we paid $32 (no drinks). They offered water cups and we took them. The white sauce is mayo like, the green is spicy (you have been warned). I would recommend to friends.“

“#blueandwhitecarryout an Alexandria staple patronized by the locals and visitors alike. A tiny venue but very welcoming and gave a feeling of belonging! One employee in particular by the name of Charlie was quite popular as longtime customers piled in to say hello or catch up while he prepared an array of food items to include the fried foods. Mimi wanted to try the fried chicken breast (she loves chicken) and initially I was told there was a 15 minute wait, a customer ahead of me stated it’s definitely worth the wait as he smiled. So having a free day off, I waited and I am so glad that I did! The chicken breast also has the wing attached and it’s placed piping hot between two slices of “cheap white sliced bread”. I was asked how I would like it so I responded as many others before me did: salt, pepper and hot sauce? When I say that was the most perfectly seasoned, fried and juiciest chicken breast I have ever had (5/5). They are a food stand opened early and closes early only M-F! “Delicious. The best chicken sandwich in the DC area and that’s coming from the chicken sandwich connoisseur! Medium heat is where it’s at but know that it packs a punch. It’s pricey but good. I do think they could throw on a few more pickles. Maybe they’ll read this and move towards perfection 😋“

“Our first visit and we were impressed!
Steven was friendly and welcoming, taking time to walk us through the menu and explain the specialties. The chicken sliders and the fries were delicious. Generous portions and great value.

We also loved the atmosphere especially the local murals featuring Leesburg Pike, which gave it a fun community vibe. Everything felt clean, lively, and well put together.

We’ll definitely be back and recommend Dave’s Hot Chicken to our local school for a potential spirit night fundraiser at Glen Forest Elementary.“
