“They always play the best music here! They help me keep up with what's new and hot. Except for one time when they played my ex-boyfriend's diss track about me called "Liandria You're the Worst and I Mean It." I'm telling you the name but please don't look it up.“
“Why in the world is the service here so good. It’s Wednesday morning. Employees could easily not give a damn. Yet the young guy at point-of-sale with a stellar smile (name on receipt starts with “Niv”), the young woman working as barista Anna(?) 2 perfect kid hot chocolates), Juan and woman (no name tag) with him made sure my cheese-less order was perfect. Before leaving my table I saw Anna and Niv at register jump at the chance to help customers, and another employee helped a slightly confused older gentleman get some decaf/cream. Truly did not expect this and it gives me a glimmer of hope.Kid-friendliness: Employees went out of their way to make sure we had what my kids and I needed.“
“Panera is busy in the mornings and they really do rush..or take their sweet time…but today the food and drinks seemed super rushed! My green smoothies were quite low; and I brought it up to the barista- her name is SOY. What a sweet girl. She didn’t catch an attitude or give me excuses, she smiled genuinely, was helpful, and fixed it right away!! What a gem. Thank you for your excellent customer service and positive attitude. You have no idea how you can make someone’s day better with just a genuine reaction and solving the problem. THANK YOU SOY!!! You’re the best :)“
“I have been wanting to try Pleroma for a while now and finally gave it a chance for their Sunday brunch buffet. They are still going through some growing pains, but my husband and I still enjoyed ourselves. We came towards the end of brunch, so the food needed some replenishing, but there were still some yummy choices like the fish, yellow rice, and a couple of stews. My husband is Muslim and only eats halal meat, so the owner was kind enough to show us what he could eat and even made him special plates to accommodate him, so both of us left very full! It is a smaller space, but was full and we enjoyed the west african music in the background. I felt like we were with family and were treated as such. Pleroma is a very welcomed addition to Laurel and I am wishing them success. Looking forward to our next visit!“
“I love coming to this place! Their salads are really good and fresh. Their other entrees on the menu are really good too. I totally recommend! I forgot to get one of the workers’ names but she’s really sweet and always remembers what I like to get! The manager is also really sweet. All of the workers are great!“
“Love Yia-Yia's, best Greek restaurant we've found in the area. They have a small casual dining area and a brisk takeout/delivery business. Everything we've had so far is good (shawarma, salad, spanikopita, dips, baklava, rice pudding) and their hummus is incredible. Parking lot makes for easy takeout. Also used them to cater a couple of parties and got rave reviews.“
“Amazing. After coming a long way on our road trip, it’s definitely worth the stop. The pho has a fresh and comforting flavor, I could not stop eating. The service is quick and everyone here is so kind and welcoming. I would recommend getting the #9 beef (pictured), it’s definitely a new favorite. This is a hidden gem and shouldn’t be kept secret! The flavors are beautiful and it was a much needed meal to keep us going on our long trip.“
“The Gobi Manchurian here is incredible - get it if you like wings, get it if you’re vegetarian, get it if you love your tastebuds… basically don’t skip it for any reason. Everything else was fantastic too - very attentive service and nice ambiance and all the food was yummy.“
“1st time trying Phoenix Upper Main, while visiting from out of state. Led downstairs to a cozy pub-like room, where we enjoyed, burgers, fish & chips and Nachos with spicy jalapenos! Music was a bit loud for my taste, but, so glad to be together with my kids & Grandkids! ???“
“This place quickly became one of our family's go to eateries when they first opened. I've had a different meal each time we've gone here and every dish was delicious. We have gone probably ten times so far. Atmosphere is great and even better now after the remodel. The service is sometimes slow, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. The drinks are a little pricey too. I just paid ten bucks for a shot of Jack Daniel's on Friday. Most other places that would be between 6-8 bucks. Highly recommended Acapulco though.“
“Well this is the second time, the first time I ate Menudo it was very good but the truth is they take too long to serve you, and now I better ordered by phone so I wouldn't have to wait I ordered a Cuban cake and the truth is I have no idea what part of Cuba it was because It is totally different from the Cuban cakes I have eaten, but it was really delicious.“
“They didn't have enough staff for the amount of guests they have at dinner time on a Saturday night. Our server Bailey like the Irish cream was our server and she was wonderful. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. But there were multiple empty tables when we were going to our table.“
“Ordered for rapid pick up but when we got in we had a problem with our order. They quicky made a new one and NIA our cashier was so sweet. The manager gave my daughter a pastry to make up for waiting for the order to be redone. We ended up dining in and had a lovely time.“
