“a little background- I've never really had pupusas so this would be my first real food experience with them.I ordered takeout online and went to the location. The restaurant is located inside the back of a liquor store. I got 3 pupusas: cheese ($2.75), chicken ($2.75), and revuelta ($2.75) which has pork, beans, and cheese. The pupusas came with a type of coleslaw and a sauce. As a first timer I can say that the pupusas were solid. If I was ranking the pupusas I tried I'd say: 1- revuelta, 2-chicken, and 3-cheese.All in all, this is a solid location that serves decent pupusas. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other items like the steak n cheese with fries.“

“This place is great. Fresh traditional Latin food and amazing customer service. Junior went way above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Very personable and friendly. The food here is delicious and extremely enjoyable however, Junior’s customer service skills earned them a new loyal frequent customer. This will be my go to spot from now on. Bravo.“

“It's a small restaurant so the space is tight, but there are some outdoor seating options. The staff are super friendly, but service was a bit slow.Don't let that discourage you from visiting because the food is delicious. The lomo saltado had a deep flavored, almost adobo type sauce that's different from what I've had in Peru which was more centered on the beef flavor. Guacamole is freshly made and worth the add on.“

“Sorry I do not have any photos to include, once I opened the lid to my to-go meal I was on beast mode foaming at the mouth. The spread was incredible to say the least, visuals alone. The carne asada was savory, seasoned perfectly, portioned very generously, and was a great cut of meat. Other places seem to serve gristly chewy meat but this was far far from that. 10/10. Very authentic. I will be back :) Nice staff - do not let the location throw you off. I grew up in this neighborhood and it really isn't a bad place at all. Nice community“

“I found this place on accident through DoorDash and did a pick up while I was getting gas. And let me tell you… everything was DELICIOUS! The ladies in the truck were so nice. Food was served hot. The birria tacos were perfect. The tacos dorados were so good. If you are hungry don’t be afraid to double up and order a few things. Portions aren’t big but they are perfect to leave room to fry a few things. Prices are a little high for food truck food but everything was really good. I’ll be back.“

“This place is a wonderful hole in the wall spot. The food here is freshly made and served hot. The pupusas are filled with delicious cheese and are not greasy. The tacos are made with handmade tortillas and server on plates that hold the tacos in shape! The meat in the tacos is flavorful and juicy.“

“A nice surprise really. My appetizers were the civiche with fried calamari and a cheese pupusa. Both were delicious. The calamari dish had tilapia in it which was also great. For my drinks (which were the real stars) I had a blackberry vodka mule and a Cranberry orange margarita. Both were well made.“
“Best pupusas ive had here in Md. Great quality. Pupusas came out hot! And fresh. Let me say ive been to various pupuserias like in wheaton, langley park but this one in my opinion topped them off. That said i can only say that for the pupusas. The burrito were ok since they went heavy on the rice.“

“My steak & cheese sub was freshly made and quite good. The service was fast enough for a carry-out but I chose to eat in, sitting at one of the three available tables. It's a family-owned restaurant with both Chinese and Latino fare, its prices are reasonable and the parking is free! I will be back!“

“Delicious pupusas. Several different options (cheese, pork, beans, loroco). My favorites were the plain cheese and the pork, but all were great. They also have a ton of stuff in addition to pupusas.I ordered at the truck and they took about 10 minutes. Came out piping hot. You could also call ahead and save the wait! The truck is inside the BP gas station parking area, left of the convenience store. There's a picnic table with umbrella if you want to eat there.“

“Amazing pupusas!!Thanks Goodness the other reviewer told us you enter through the liquor store so we were prepared for that. It felt like taking my family on an adventure to a kind of speakeasy for Central American food! The place was full of people used to eating Salvadoran and Honduran food. Felt very authentic.Lacking great atmosphere, but made up for it with amazing, hot, crispy, cheesy papusas. We also ordered chicken from the hot table with beans and rice, extra beans, chorizo eggs and tortillas. Mild, delicious flavors there but the chicken was falling off the bone.Horchata was very good and large and $4. Lots of food and good to share.Vegetarian options: Cheese papusas and cheese and bean are great for vegetarians and gluten free. Great black beans and rice! Also try the fried plantains.Dietary restrictions: Cheese papusas and cheese and bean are great for vegetarians and gluten free. Great black beans and rice!Parking: Park at and enter through the liquor store LOLKid-friendliness: Kids will love the cheese papusas but they are super hot coming out of the kitchen fresh.“
