“This place is a wonderful hole in the wall spot. The food here is freshly made and served hot. The pupusas are filled with delicious cheese and are not greasy. The tacos are made with handmade tortillas and server on plates that hold the tacos in shape! The meat in the tacos is flavorful and juicy.“
“Amazing pupusas! Some of the best I have ever had. They have the perfect amount of filling to tortilla ratio. Most places will put way too much inside and it leaves the pupusas quickly becoming soggy. Simple setup inside, nothing fancy, not nice in reality. But that's not what a food establishment's top priority should be. It's the food. Definitely will become one of my regular spots.“
“These guys came to the St. John the Apostle Parish Picnic today and were quite pleasant folks. They had a very positive demeanor and served food that was absolutely incredible. The burrito that I ate was absolutely delicious and garnered the admiration of multiple different people. 10/10, I would eat here again. I actually almost got a burrito to go but was sad to see that they had already left for the day.“
“The fish celantro stuff was fantastic! The beans were like a runny gravy. The garlic shrimp was served on the shell and very difficult to chew. The phone was in the booth behind me and kept ringing during the meal.I asked them to move it somewhere else, but I don’t think they know English.“
“WOW!!5 out of 5 stars! First time trying this place - ordered takeout, we did not eat at the restaurant. We ordered "La pupusa familar" - it's a family pupusa. I did not think it was as big as it was. It's 8 slices of heaven! Each slices is about 2 regular pupusas. We ordered a bean and cheese rice pupusa, a bean and cheese corn pupusa and a pork, bean and cheese corn pupusa! They were REALLY THICK! They did not skimp on the cheese. My absolute favorite was the BEAN AND CHEESE RICE PUPUSA! Incredible flavor! LOTS OF cheese! WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK AGAIN!!Included a picture of my 7 month old son for size comparison!! Haha!“
“The food is super good, the prices are incredible affordable, the taste is out of this world, we go every chance we get, we love the variety of foods, Mexican/Salvadoran, my kids love the sopes and carne asada, i also like the pupusas and the sopa de res, along with the chicken salad, you won't regret the visit, ♥️❤️“
“I have always ordered the chicken soup and I have always liked the flavor and the amount they give for a dish, very satisfied with the service and especially with the taste of the food. They are a Latin example. Thank you very much for representing Latin gastronomy.“
“Delicious & fresh every time!! I always call in my order and it's always ready. Love the service and the food. I have had a couple things and everything is always good. The chicken nachos are so filling it's my guilty pleasure. The tacos are flavorful and so is the Camarones a la crema. When it's in season the mangonadas are also yummy. Can't wait to come back soon!“
“pretty tight place to eat in, not a lot of tables but this place has the best carne asada platter I have ever tried in a restaurant. very generous portions and always hot and delicious steak flanks, if you are in the Sterling area is well worth it to order ahead and take it to go if there are no seats.a annoying thing about it is the homeless begging outside or people soliciting stuff on the parking lot but for that carne asada I don't care ?“
“Sorry I do not have any photos to include, once I opened the lid to my to-go meal I was on beast mode foaming at the mouth. The spread was incredible to say the least, visuals alone. The carne asada was savory, seasoned perfectly, portioned very generously, and was a great cut of meat. Other places seem to serve gristly chewy meat but this was far far from that. 10/10. Very authentic. I will be back :) Nice staff - do not let the location throw you off. I grew up in this neighborhood and it really isn't a bad place at all. Nice community“
