The Roast Coffee and Cafe Reviews
Just a beautiful venue to sit down and share with friends
I heard about this place while I was hiking at Cromwell Valley park this morning. I decided to drive up Glen Arm Rd. to find the coffee/cafe shop they talked about. What an awesome place! If you are looking for an out of town/city experience try The Roast. I ordered the Station BLT and an iced latte with oat milk. Absolutely the best BLT I’ve ever had in my 60+ years! This is my kind of cafe. I will be going back to try other sandwiches & wraps. I loved everything about this...read full review
BUSY BUSY BUSY! Line out the door. Quaint, historic location, old train station, good coffee ☕️, refreshing lavender lemonade, tasty sandwiches and pastry 🥪 Lots of outdoor seating, little house on the prairie vibes. I noticed the adjacent building will be opening soon, called “The Hub”, sounds inviting. Glen Arm finally has a hang out spot and it’s about time.

The Roast Coffee and Cafe is a cherished new spot in Glen Arm, much appreciated by locals. This quaint and cozy coffee shop offers a variety of baked goods from Woodlea Bakery, a delicious breakfast sandwich, and excellent specialty drinks like their bold black walnut latte and iced lattes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, creating a true local feel with a great vibe. This cafe, located in a former station for the Ma & Pa Railroad, showcases its history while providing a better alternative to corporate cafes. Although seating is limited inside, there is ample outdoor seating overlooking scenic countryside, and the staff moves customers through the line quickly. The food, while fresh and sourced locally, may run out during busy hours. The cafe is kid-friendly with a high chair available and plenty of outdoor space. Friendly staff provide service with a smile, and they use Ceremony roasters for their quality coffee. Overall, it's a welcomed addition to the community, offering a much-needed gathering place. Parking is easy with a huge lot.
