“Ah pizza. First disclaimer I didn't pay for the pizza so no idea how much it costs. Hence why this review is based solely taste.

It's a solid pizza. The Barnyard and the Supreme were elite.

The ginger ale has less sugar than most so thumbs up.

The garlic knots are a pre-diabetic nightmare so take friends and share.

“This location is in a busy area but has ample lot and street parking. The staff was friendly knowledgeable about options that didn't include pork and immediately offered to use fresh tools to accommodate me. It's was clean and had a nice amount of seating available.

Dietary restrictions: There are gluten-free and cauliflower crusts options, lots of veggie topping and beef and chicken proteins if you don't eat pork. You can build a salad on a pizza crust or in a bowl and add seasoning at your request. I did not see a meatless protein option but I might have just missed it. They will use fresh tools to avoid cross contamination, just ask.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's meal option and the counter is low enough that kids about 5 and up can see their pizza being made and definitely if you pick them up. The line moves quickly when they are busy but they are very kind to newcomers“

In terms of the sandwiches and pizza, they use the same ingredients as the original Italian owners, with the exception of the pizza dough. The pizza dough is not hand tossed and the dough they currently use taste like cardboard, but same ingredients. Lately, the sandwiches have been tasty as you can see in the photo, I ate half of a whole sandwich; same ingredients. Keep in mind they use RIBEYE and not those thin steakum’s like NY Chicken and the rest that claim they have the bomb SNC…. Na! This spot uses ribeye steak the ones you can buy from Florida ave market. I know cause I’m an c Merchant Marines cook and I’ve purchased ribeye sandwich steak from Florida ave market.“

The pizza tasted really good. Had a Maverick pizza. Was great. So despite the poor service and mediocre ambience, the pizza was great. To be honest, my first pizza in the USA, which wasn't just greasy, but also tasted good.“

“Update. The owner reached out to me and apologized and agreed that this was unacceptable. I appreciate that level of customer service and to try to make things right. It is all I wanted last night and there never would have been an issue. They do have good food and obviously better management in the day time. I hope they can fix things at night and hope to give them another try. Every place can have a bad night and I hope that their evening manager learns their lesson or they find a better one. Normally order and have no issues. Order through Grub Hub and my order is a few minutes late but no big. Then I open my boxes. Pizzas are wrong. First thing I do is check my email to make sure I didn’t screw up. Nope. Ok, call the store. Person on the phone is very rude. Blamed me until I read my email receipt to her. Well her solution is for me to keep it and they will give me free pizza next time? What? I ordered through a website and how will they remember to honor this promise anyway. No offer to send out correct food and is huffed when I don’t want to keep the wrong order. Ordered a pepperoni and extra cheese pizza and a mushroom and extra cheese pizza. Pepperoni and mushroom on a single pizza is not what we wanted. Currently waiting on them to pick up their pizza now. Only reason I got my money back is because I ordered through a third party site. In store customer service is awful. They can’t even master the simple words “sorry, let us fix this.” Prices are too high to put up with this again. If you order from this place do it from a third party site like grub hub, otherwise you might not get your money back when they screw up.“

“I grew up going to the original Ledos store on University Blvd in Adelphi. I moved away many years ago and I am told that old store is gone. I was visiting my old stomping grounds and tried the College Park location on US Rt 1. It's a very different vibe for a new era. It's a beautiful restaurant and quite inviting. The pizza is excellent as always. The service was on point. Ledos Pizza is an iconoc brand in this area and has branched out I to a small chain. You won't be disappointed.“

“Buy one large, get a large for only 99 cents!?!? Are you kidding me, Potomac Pizza!? I might have to come here every Tuesday for that deal. The two pizzas I got were the Mexican pizza and a Cheese. Both were amazing, and got better when I came back a second time. The tomato sauce was very slightly sweet, making Potomac Pizza stand out compared to other pizzas. The Mexican pizza is a great contrast to the cheese and is a favorite among my roommates. I’ve tried three appetizers. The mozzarella sticks were the best. Nice and light and easy to eat. They taste great and the cheese won’t get stuck in your throat. Garlic knots were good. I highly recommend the jalapeño poppers, those were delicious. “This is my go-to place when ordering pizza for take out or pick up, though I usually eat it in the store. The staff is friendly and helpful, the cheese selection at the cheese counter is awesome, and the Italian store has your basic needs.They have a formal sit-down restaurant and bar in the back with a more informal cafeteria-style seating in the front. When you come in to pick up your pizza, you can ask for a few plates, help yourself to cutlery and seasonings, then choose a table and eat your delicious pizza while it is still hot. They now also have a few outdoor tables as well, so in nicer weather it is a great place to sit too. And when you have finished a terrific pizza, you can go up to the counter and order an Italian Ice at bargain prices. I highly recommend the lemon.“
