“I visited Judy's Island off the recommendation of @A.I Brown. The restaurant had a nice vibe, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was good!! I had the jerk chicken and my husband had jerk lambchops. Both were good...and we would visit again!“

“The goat curry and oxtail Mac and cheese are both amazing! Great flavor for both. Curry has a good spice to it. And the meats for both fall right off the bone! Will be back for sure :) only thing is Mac and cheese itself was a bit oily

“I've been going to this Caribbean spot for a long time when they were in the old market near Green St. I hadn't been in a minute, but I'm glad I did. Brother went and bought quite a bit. Ox tails were awesome. 1/2 jerk chicken mac and cheese greens plus yams was awesome. Basically, everything was delicious. Mike and his wife can throw down in the kitchen. Check it out for yourself.“

“Let me tell you something these oxtails and everything on my plate was so good. I am soooooo happy i found this spot. I ordered on door dash and when i tell you everything was handled with care and nothing was wrong and everything tasted so good. If you haven’t been here or ordered here please do, the best oxtails I have had in a long time. Even my toddler loved it wasn’t to spicy it was just right. Thank youuuuu 💚💚 will order AGAIN!!!“

I am visiting from out of town for work. I work late at night, so I get off around 2 am.
I googled late night food open near me. I found this place. I had no idea what to expect when I pulled up.
I walked in and immediately saw a chess board and welcoming smiles from Tony and his brother.
The atmosphere is authentic and comforting with a jovial mood. They have lofi music playing, setting the vibes of the chill atmosphere.
Tony whipped up an imperial salmon dish for me, and the smell had my stomach growling. The food is amazing and the secret ingredient is love forsure.
He boxed up my food, and after he played a round of chess with me.
I am at my airbnb right now enjoying this incredible food. I absolutely will be back while I am here visiting, and I recommend this place to everyone.
It is such a vibe, and you can feel the energy. It is kind and genuine.

“Went two days in a row, and the food was consistently well made, and tasted amazing. There was a wonderful flavor profile in the curry, jerk had just right amount of spice, and brown stew sauce was savory. The Nice lady who answers the phone is always polite and repeats everything back to you. Definitely 💯 recommend if you want good Jamaican and Caribbean food. And the prices compared to others is affordable and good size portions. These were small platters Curry Goat 🐐 n Brown Stew Chicken 🍗“

“I came here to celebrate my 60th Birthday and the food and service was excellent. The owner and his nephew Shi made it the best. I'm sorry I did not meet the better half, but I will be returning this Sunday for carryout. “Hubby and I ordered for the first time and picked it up. The salmon and shrimp dishes are seasoned so well yet simple and cooked perfectly! While calling to order the young man I spoke with was very patient and helpful while I asked questions to ensure eating the food was safe for my dietary restrictions.“

“Hands down the best Jamaican food in the area. I can't believe I have not reviewed this establishment until now, I also can't believe it's only 5 reviews. He always has a long line and is sold out down at JH University. My hubby and I came into contact a couple years ago at Afram and we have been hooked on this good food. This is authentic Jamaican cooking, not just pepper but actual seasoning. We enjoy the curry chicken, jerk chicken, pastas, and the Mac and cheese is fire! The drinks are also very good. I'm so happy we found him because it is the best food in the area.“

“First time ordering from here JIST 4-5 hours ago. I saw sooo many good reviews I had to try it. I ordered (delivery) their jerk chicken panini, and jerk chicken Rasta pasta. MAN… the pasta is sooo good!! The panini was also delicious, even though the panini pressed grilled bread had steamed inside its wrapper and lost its crispiness.. it was great. Wasn’t soggy just had lost its crunchiness where the grill marks are. I can’t wait to try their chicken pot pie and jerk chicken platter! I would’ve ordered those too.. but I don’t want to reheat anything and want to try it fresh. Will order those items next time! Thank you ❤️“
