“We visited Bonchon on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 PM and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The restaurant was quiet at that time, which made for a peaceful and relaxed meal. Despite being empty, the service was absolutely spot-on—our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and quick with everything we needed.

Parking was easy and plentiful right outside the restaurant, and there was no shortage of seating inside either. The dining area offered a mix of regular tables, chairs, and comfortable booths. Everything was clean and well-kept, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

The menu had a wide range of options, making it hard to choose—but everything we ordered turned out to be absolutely delicious. We went with a 16-piece wings combo (a mix of wings and drumsticks), an additional 4 drumsticks, and tteokbokki. The portions were very generous and super filling.

The standout was definitely the chicken. It was tender and juicy on the inside, and the batter was perfectly crisp—light and crunchy without being overwhelming. Impressively, the crispiness held up throughout the entire meal, unlike other locations we’ve tried where the batter tends to get thick and rubbery. This Bonchon location really nailed it!

We chose the soy garlic flavor, which was incredibly savory and rich. I also highly recommend the yangnyeom flavor if you’re looking for a sweet-and-spicy kick that’s flavorful without being overpowering.

We loved the food so much that we couldn’t resist ordering another 16-piece wings combo to go!

The interior of the restaurant was vibrant but not overly stimulating—just the right balance of energy and comfort. It’s a great place to relax with friends and enjoy quality Korean fried chicken and other Korean comfort foods.

“Went here for my daughter’s birthday dinner because she loves korean food and it is just like what we have with my family get togethers. I had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. The portions are huge and we shared everything with four people (two kids and two hungry pre-teens). We got the Kimchi Pa Jun, dukboki (no cheese or fish cakes), Chicken Ban Ban in Korean sauce, bulgogi (comes with a bowl of rice), mandu, and the spicy sushi combination (3 rolls). I couldn’t believe how large the portions were! Everything was so flavorful and definitely reminded me of eating with my extended family when we had large get togethers. In addition to our order, we also got banchans (sides) of kimchi, potato, green beans, bean sprouts, and tofu. The server (maybe owner?) was so sweet and nice and reminded me of my aunts. The location is not right on 40 like the other restaurants in this area, but it’s not far off. The location wasn’t super busy with people (Wednesday night), but they seem to do well with takeout orders. Will definitely be back for some traditional korean food!“

“Ordered boneless wings. Even though the chicken was thoroughly cooked it seemed like the grease was not hot enough as they were soaked with oil. In addition, there was an odd taste as if the vats were used for cross cooking other proteins. The boneless chunks were also unlike any other I've had as they were very fatty and grisly. Maybe the sandwich or regular wings would be better, but with the other options like Dave's etc, I think I'll have to pass.“

I had the soondae tteokbokki and it was delicious but the variety Korean jeon… I’ll be back just for that. Please be mindful that the Korean ‘pancakes’ are savory and not sweet. “Had an impromptu lunch here today, even though we have been wanting to come for a while. The atmosphere was quiet and calm. We sat down and ordered. Some fresh hot tea was also on my list and it was a perfect start. Everything was hot, fresh, and so delicious. The added sides from them added to the complexity of the dishes and paired deliciously. The cold noodles in beef broth were so refreshing. My husband loved the spicy squid and the seafood pancake was crispy and delicious. We cannot wait to come back again! Everything was very well priced and the serving sizes were a bit on the larger side.“

I believe that Kind staff and clean kitchen guarantee the quality of food, and this place strengthens my beliefs.
If it is first time for you to try fokebowl or have no idea what you have to eat, just ask the staff to make your meal according to his own recipe which is perfect.

This is the place I come to whenever I want to eat Korean food while living in the United States.
It's similar to Korean hoedeopbap, but you can think of it as healthier and less salty!
The owner is kind and if you don't know how to eat it, you can ask him to make it with his combination and he will make it very delicious.“

“I had steamed monkfish.. There are no real good restaurants in ELLICOTT CITY, where I live now. There is no restaurant that is particularly good at steamed monkfish. However, I ate delicious monkfish for the first time in a while at Hyeban. I love braised monkfish, and for the first time in a long time, I ate it very deliciously. The portion is huge.. If two people come, you can really eat the monkfish to the fullest.. Above all, the service is really the best.. The servers are great. Very friendly.. The female server named EUNJEA was really friendly.. I went there for the first time and asked a lot of questions about the menu, but she responded very kindly and kindly.. I also like the spacious space.. The tables were close together. I like it because it doesn't exist.. The last thing I want to say is that the food at this place is not crazy delicious. “We went here on a whim to grab lunch and we were not disappointed! The Pad Thai was so delicious that I wanted to keep eating it even when I was too full for more. My boyfriend got the Donburi and he left nothing behind in his bowl.The tea was some of the best we've ever had, and we had to stop ourselves from inhaling the entire cup immediately. Very authentic from food selection, drinks offered, to interior atmosphere, wall decorations and the service. There is nothing fancy here, only hearty Korean vibes and food here. Everything is reasonably priced given the shareable size portions of each order. If you understand Korean culture, you will know how authentic this place is and will not complain about the service. “The food is always amazing here. The service is good, but not necessarily great. The ladies that are doing the orders and also waiting tables always seem too busy to put in that extra added time with customers that pushes it over the top, but they are definitely pleasant and professional.

“We stopped by for Thai food but noticed an abundance of Korean restaurants in the mall. After a quick Google Maps check, we chose this one—and it did not disappoint! The authenticity was evident, with all the staff being Korean and only a few speaking English.

The food was excellent for the price. We ordered the special combination for two, which was more than enough for three—my husband, teen son, and me. The highlight was the thick pork belly: it looked greasy at first, but once grilled and cut into bite-sized pieces, it was incredible. The fat rendered out, leaving the meat perfectly crispy and chewy.

The two men also shared a seafood pancake, while I was already satisfied with the small dishes—like the steamed egg and soup—that came with the meal.“
