“Our family and a friends family meet at Kpot 2/3 times a month for dinner. The service is always great and the tablet makes ordering super convenient! We celebrated our daughter’s 10th birthday tonight and she really enjoyed the cheesecake (her bday dinner was also free which we didn’t know and thought was very nice)!“

“Catonsville/Ellicott City has a lot of great asian restaurants. There's one that is a bigger chain, and they are great... but then we went to BB.Q and they are hands down the best Korean style fried wings I've ever had. My wife and I have been there twice. The first time, we went a little mild/medium to test the waters. The second time we went all in. I got the Wings of Fire, she got Gang-Jeong. We got Rose Ddeok-Bokki on the side, it's so delicious and acts as a kind of palate cleanser to save your mouth from the heat. If you like spicey heat, that order delivers and then some.“

“This food is so good and fresh each time. I generally get tge beef or pork bulgogi with noodles, rice and sometimes salad. I only eat here when I'm working downtown. Wishing in the future they'd open up another location closer to Parkville. Excellent food!!“

“Pretty cozy and low key restaurant.
Pretty mixed bag of what we got. The favorite was probably the dolsot (stone bowl) and egg roll like stuffdd with glass noodles. Latter made fresh and significantly crunchy even after long periods still retained it somehow.
Probably will go back to try something different.
But surprise, togo boxes charged 50 cents each. First time I've ever seen a restaurant do this for what you think should be free or part of just any restaurant outing
Sorry no pictures forgot!“

“My husband and I were on a hunt for the best Korean restaurant and specifically best Korean fried chicken. When we tried Seoul we didn’t even bother trying any others. It’s sooo good. The owners are always so kind and we have become regulars. Eating here feels like having a home cooked meal.“

“Visited Jumak on Sunday night around 7:30 pm. They kept the interior and decor from the previous business Kare Bar, however added neon lights on one side of the wall. I personally felt the decor was very outdated and looked “cheap”. They left the bar “dark” which made the entire room looked very dark and not welcoming. Really wished they can consider redo their decor.
Despite having my personal opinion about their decor, their food was surprisingly very good. The portion of their entree is huge and good enough for two people to share. We ordered Chicken Katsu Don and today’s special “miso truffle salmon gnocchi”. The chicken katsu was absolutely delicious and a great comfort food. The panko breaded chicken cutlet was flavorful and crispy. The steaming egg was also savory. I especially appreciated the dish was served at a high temperature and not lukewarm. The daily special “miso truffle salmon gnocchi” was phenomenal, perfectly balanced with Alfredo creamy sauce and truffle. Both dishes were highly recommended!
We also ordered a glass of Peach Makge Bellini and Citrus Makge Sangria. Both cocktails were too sweet and not having enough alcohol, which could be improved.
Overall, Jumak is highly recommended. I also appreciate they open at late night.“

“Ordered takeout. This place serves korean food that is made the paik jong won/sugar boy style. I did not expect my omelette to come with cream that is sweet. I was not the biggest fan of it. But the portion is great! The price isn’t too bad. There’s definitely more to try from the menu.“

“My wife and I order from here often and we have tasted a lot of the menu and everything is good here. It's never packed which always confused me because the food and quality is good, but I guess the location makes it hard to see when driving down route 40. I hope they never change the food, we love it.“

“The bingsu is amazing! Especially the mango, pls keep it if u wanna make money
The ramen station DIY is expensive tho. I think you will have a lot of customer if u sell it for 5.99 instead of 8.99. It basically just instant noodle and egg, and customer cook it our self“

“Great little spot. Good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. There were a lot of Koreans eating there, so I assume/infer it's pretty authentic (but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know myself).
The eating area is very plain and no frills, but it's sufficient.
The bulgogi was very tasty. The dumplings were nice and crispy. Everything came out hot. The garnishes and mini soft drink at the end were a nice touch.
I thought my bulgogi was a bit heavy on the onions. And the dumplings could have used a little sauce. But overall, highly recommended.“

“Pretty sure we may have tried all the different sauces for the wings by now. I can’t even tell you which is my favorite cause they’re all so good. The chicken is always super crisp and flavorful. Everything is made to order so you have to wait a bit before they bring it out but it’s very worth the wait! The sides are huge, definitely shareable. I also tried the ramen bowl. The regular one. DELICIOUS 🤤 fun, upbeat place to watch the World Cup games also.“

“Great Korean food with good portion sizes and good service. There's only a few parking spots in the front but plenty in the back. The tteokbokki rice cakes we're a little chewy and tougher than I typically like, and I usually like the sauce to be a little sweeter. It was not too spicy that I could not handle it which I liked. The banchan was great and they refilled it. Spicy chicken bulgolgi was tender and not dry but was a bit smaller than I expected for the price. I loved the pork Tangsuyuk - nice and crispy, not dry, nice sweet and sour sauce. I would have liked a little more veggies with it but the portion was huge and I was pleasantly surprised.“

“I just found my new favorite! I poked my head in and -even though she wasn't technically open yet- i was treated to an amazing chicken noodle dish which was created while I waited in the cute, funky dining area. It felt like my mom was cooking for me. Also the best part? It was DELICIOUS. The whole experience made my day. You should try it!!“

“This was my second time eating here. The last time was years ago, and they didn't include lettuce with the BBQ, which was one of the reasons I started going elsewhere. However, my sister chose this restaurant for her birthday, so we gave it another try.
I'm happy to say they now include lettuce! The banchan was decent, the kimchi was delicious, and the BBQ was excellent. We ordered the second combo with the samgyeopsal and marinated beef. My brother-in-law did the grilling (as usual!), and I ordered the large naengmyeon (cold noodles in a delicious icy broth). I ate until I felt like I was going to explode!
The only downsides were that the space felt a bit cramped, and the prices were slightly higher than the other Korean restaurant we usually visit on Bethany Lane. Nevertheless, the most important thing is that the food tasted authentically Korean. 😋 The waitress was also very attentive, which made the experience even better.“

“Had the Dumbling Ramen and it was very good. It was spicier than I expected but I’m not bothered by such things; gave it a nice surprising kick. Comes in a metal bowl on hot pad, so be warned it will be quite hot at first and may need to let it cool a little before eating.“

“Looking for authentic Korean cuisine? This is the place.
Very authentic from food selection, drinks offered, to interior atmosphere, wall decorations and the service. There is nothing fancy here, only hearty Korean vibes and food here. Everything is reasonably priced given the shareable size portions of each order. If you understand Korean culture, you will know how authentic this place is and will not complain about the service. It was good service to my opinion 😉
Definitely recommend @WineDinenVacay“

“I visited the Rotunda Local Fry location. I ordered the local fries with the crab dip, no scallions, crispy fries and cheddar cheese. My order was just about $19. Within 6 minutes of receiving my order I notice the fries were not crispy to me but limp, (Not the fries with the crab dip on them) I'm talking about the fries that didn't have dip on them were limp. I asked for crispy fries. I asked for them to be made over and serve the dip separately in a box possibly. I was told by Corey Hawkins that he could not make them over or offer a refund unless the store personnel made a mistake, also no refund is not stated on the receipt nor is it posted in the store. He stated he is not allowed to do anything basically to satisfy the customer, no other manager was there for me to speak to. This to me is not fair to the customer because I was totally unsatisfied and wanted a remake (separately) or a refund. This is very upsetting that the customers are treated this way, his hands was tied and im left unhappy with $20 fries. This was like a 10 minute ordeal because I was trying to get my money back and had i known that you dont give refunds I would have never placed an order there at all, this needs to be made known to the consumer. This situation puts the manager and the customer in a very awkward position and something needs to be done for customers that are unhappy with their orders, or you will loose alot of customers once they go through something like this and especially because its not posted that you don't give refunds. Regretful, Upset, disappointed and dissatisfied Customer“

“TLDR: BeSeTo in Catonsville is a beautifully renovated Asian food court offering generous portions, excellent Korean comfort dishes, and a fun dose of Korean culture through its downstairs shopping area. A must visit if you enjoy authentic Korean food and variety.
BeSeTo Food Court in Catonsville has become one of my favorite local spots. Located right next to H Mart on Rolling Road, BeSeTo (short for Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo) occupies the space that used to be the longtime Hanori food court where I had been going for nearly 15 years. The renovation here is massive in the best way. The entire space feels brighter and more modern and the mix of vendors has improved dramatically.
The food court is now located upstairs and features five total vendors offering a wide mix of Asian comfort foods. Over the course of a dozen visits I have tried all of them and everything has been fantastic as well as fairly priced. Some of the absolute must tries are the kalguksu with its rich handmade noodles, the sundae which is incredibly hard to find locally, the jajangmyeon and jjambbong duo for when you want to go classic Korean Chinese, and the jokbol when it is available. Portions here are extremely generous, many large enough to share, so it is well worth coming with friends or family.
Ordering is very simple. Each vendor has a numbered menu and you can order easily in English if you do not speak Korean. Food comes out fast and always piping hot which makes it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or casual dinner.
Downstairs you will find the shopping vendors specializing in Korean home goods. They carry everything from cookware and tabletop items to traditional style furniture and even herbal supplements. Browsing through the aisles genuinely reminded me of the household stores I visited in Seoul and it adds a cultural bonus to the overall experience.
Overall, BeSeTo is a gem in Catonsville and a must visit for anyone who loves Korean food or wants to explore a slice of Korean culture. Generous portions, great pricing, and a refreshed space make this an a homerun pick.“
