Akira Ramen & Izakaya is a fantastic find with a great atmosphere, very clean, and very inviting. The staff is 5 stars, friendly, and accommodating. The menu has many delicious options, everything is tasty and fresh. The food is excellent, with bold and yummy flavors, great portions, and great prices. The Octopus puff balls, eggplant and shrimp appetizers, and fancy rolls are delicious and prepared perfectly. The Akita Volcano Ramen is amazing and very spicy. The gyoza and sushi rolls are also great. The katsu don curry is very nicely plated, and the Bento Boxes are especially liked. The Maki have a very nice amount of fish. The service is prompt, professional, and super quick, even when busy. The atmosphere is very accommodating with soft lighting and nice decorations. The parking garage is right behind the restaurant. However, the garage entrance lights can be a problem. Some reviews note disappointment that the app cannot be used for rewards. Overall, Akira is the best and highly recommended.
