“I commend Restaurant 55 in Hyattsville, Maryland, for its exceptional service and delectable cuisine and clubbing atmosphere. The ambiance is delightful, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience is truly remarkable. The owner's dedication to providing top-notch hospitality is evident in the seamless operation and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The menu offerings are diverse and thoughtfully curated, catering to a wide range of tastes. From the quality of the ingredients to the presentation of the dishes, it's evident that the team at Restaurant 55 takes great pride in their work. I look forward to returning to indulge in more culinary delights.“

“Let me say this the food is great but the service was horrible. We waited almost 45 mins before we received our food. The waitress informed us there was a larger party on the other side of the restaurant, and that is why our food was taking so long. A paying customer is a paying customer whether the party is large or small. I would like to give one more chance before I decide not to patronize this Hyattsville location again.“

“I saw a picture of the food here so I came to try it. Rarely does the food taste as good as it looks in a picture. The food was absolutely amazing and far exceeded my expectations. Our server Jazzy was fantastic; patient, kind, and attentive . Amazing brunch spot!!!“

“We supported Chef Edward Lee on the Culinary War show, so we decided to try his restaurant since he curated the menu. The decor is a bit outdated, and I think it could use a refresh. The service was outstanding, and the food was good, though I wouldn't describe it as exceptional. We ordered the Taste the South. We might return if we're nearby, but we probably won't make a special trip for it.“

“I went to Hen Quarter Prime for Brunch on a Sunday and the food at the buffet was great, the only thing I wish was the crab legs were steamed instead of being on ice. But I understand that is difficult to do for a buffet setup. Z gave amazing service, my cup for the bottomless mimosa stayed runneth over. I will definitely be returning.“

“If I could give 10 stars I would. We ordered the hot honey lemon pepper chicken sandwich and catfish and grits and I was very pleased with the taste and presentation of the dishes! The atmosphere was so chill! Staff is very friendly as well!“

“My family and I were in dc about 2 weeks ago and found this gem of an eatery at the Union Market and it was DELICIOUS 🤤 By far the absolute BEST bread puddin I have ever had in my life and we are from the south and I have eaten a lot of bread puddin. “First time customer. When I saw them taking the chicken out of the fryer I knew this place was going to be good. Got the chicken breast dinner. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Coating and sauce they put on is outstanding. Mashed potatoes, gravy and collard greens also outstanding. Will definitely be here again.“

“It is a very unassuming location. Parking is challenging in the front, and I strongly encourage you to park in the back. We had dinner at the bar, and our bartender was amazing, very personable, friendly, and made phenomenal drinks. Food came out relatively quickly. The side dishes were great, and the oxtail dish was delicious. The downside with my fried fish was that it was too salty. The fish was well prepared and flakey, but the seasoning had too much salt, and unfortunately, the remaining spices couldn't balance it out. They have fair prices and will certainly return for dinner.“

“Ordered the wings & lulagria cake on Uber Eats. To my pleasant surprise the wings were still crispy after their car ride. They tasted great as did the curry cabbage & fries on the side & cake 4 desser“
“I was In Falls Church visiting a friend and had to try HSCAFÉ.. @MamaNemsRVA_ I ordered Ribs potato salad collards and yams and I loved it I always post pics as an aspiring food critic but it was so good I forgot !!! For Dessert I ordered Sweet Potato Pie Banana pudding and pound cake which will last me a while but tasted them all for reviews and all three 10/10!!“

“My favorite restaurant hands down. Salmon, fried jerk wings, regular jerk wings, yams, Mac and cheese, egg rolls cabbage, brunch breakfast. The best food and flavor in the entire dmv (I’m standing on that) the flavor omg y’all don’t understand those boys got the juice like bishop lol“
