“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. The crab cake appetizers and shrimp and grits with lobster tail entree were amazing. We had a great time and we’ll be back!“

“Dining in Succotash was a pleasant experience. The interior is beautiful and the staff is friendly. As a fan of the Culinary Show, we are lucky to have tasted KY fried tofu and Ribeye Kalbi appeared on the show. I strongly recommend the Ribeye. It was very juicy and satisfying.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. I will definitely dine there in the near future. The lemon cake had was flavorful, moist and delicious, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Very quiet & intimate place. Everything was clean & easy to access. The service from Jennifer was so welcoming. You know how it feels to when you go visit relatives you haven’t seen in a while? That’s how Jennifer made me feel. We had a brief interaction but I felt at ease talking to her. The food was absolutely amazing!!! I ordered the catfish & grits. The steam & favor coming from the meal was breathtaking lol. If I return to DC I sure will be back. Also, try one of their homemade drinks. The 14 Carat drink was delicious.“

“My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Mallard and their team made it a really special dinner. They send out a complimentary tartine to start the meal and surprised us with homemade strawberry ice cream and birthday candle at the end. They send out food was great and the service was absolutely spectacular.“

“The wings were very good. However, the gumbo was not. It was very skimpy on the meat, and I didn’t find any okra at all. It was also a bit under-seasoned for my taste.

The Henry Pineapple Peach drink was good, but in my opinion, it wasn’t quite enough to share.

That said, Jordan was great! I hope I get seated in his section next time. He was very patient while we were being indecisive and provided excellent service throughout our visit.

“One of the best places that you could go down time for happy hour. Even if it's not happy hour, you should still make a point to visit. The bartenders are excellent. The managers are very attentive. It's one of my favorite locations visit. The inside is very interesting and great for people who want a pleasant place to be.“

“I ate at Milk and Honey this past weekend and I was INSTANTLY IMPRESSED!!! The ambiance is delightful and I love the amount of windows. It was my first time in the wharf area and they set the bar HIGH. Food was excellent, we were a party of 4 and I tasted everything on everyone’s plate and not one miss. Most notable was the chicken and Biscoff waffle. If you want a seafood option go with the Tail of two fish, you won’t be disappointed…THE MOST delightful part of my experience was my waiter Kevin. He was VERY attentive, pleasant and overall WONDERFUL. I am a gal who is particular and he was on top of everything. I was sooooo impressed with my experience I asked to speak with the manager (which usually would only happen if I had an issue) to express my satisfaction. She was helpful and pleasant as well. I will be returning soon and I will be looking for Kevin to take care of me 😊

“Now… let me explain…. There was no AC, and the manager Xavier seemed very ancy and unfortunately wasn’t very welcoming. BUT, Maekenzie made the expirence sooo much better. Her welcoming presence took the attention away from the heat and lit up the empty room. I asked about the lavender lemonade and she had mentioned she made it-so I tried it. FYI IT WAS AMAZING the lavender taste wasn’t to strong and made the drink verrryy unique. I tried the fries, fried chicken which was fried to perfection and tasty!!!I enjoyed the salmon Alfredo also. Everything was cooked very well and balanced.“

“First time visiting this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork chops with gravy ( ask for extra) , collard greens and Mac and cheese. My daughter had the baked chicken with the creole sauce 😋 with Mac and candied yams or sweet potatoes
So Good. Finished with the bread pudding and ice cream and banana pudding for dessert.. did not disappoint. The service with Bridgett was great, attentive, warming and friendly. Food was served timely. Not slow but just right. ❤💯Will come again!!“
