“Dining in Succotash was a pleasant experience. The interior is beautiful and the staff is friendly. As a fan of the Culinary Show, we are lucky to have tasted KY fried tofu and Ribeye Kalbi appeared on the show. I strongly recommend the Ribeye. It was very juicy and satisfying.“

“I ordered fried baby back ribs on May 29, ticket number 148 from the restaurant in Oxon Hill, I have ordered these before and they were delicious. But this time the ribs were hard a scrawny with very little meat on them. Some of the pieces looked as though the meat had been cut away as if there was a spoiled spot on the ribs. Before the ribs had plenty of meat and was juicy. I will not be ordering these again. Please do better. Thank you“

“My 5yr old son was bullied all day on his bday yesterday I picked him up crying went to honeys in tears because I felt so bad for him. not only did they make a donut extra special for him they sung him happy birthday and gave us amazing service. They’re donuts are amazing but their staff are even better“

“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. The crab cake appetizers and shrimp and grits with lobster tail entree were amazing. We had a great time and we’ll be back!“

“Very quiet & intimate place. Everything was clean & easy to access. The service from Jennifer was so welcoming. You know how it feels to when you go visit relatives you haven’t seen in a while? That’s how Jennifer made me feel. We had a brief interaction but I felt at ease talking to her. The food was absolutely amazing!!! I ordered the catfish & grits. The steam & favor coming from the meal was breathtaking lol. If I return to DC I sure will be back. Also, try one of their homemade drinks. The 14 Carat drink was delicious.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. I will definitely dine there in the near future. The lemon cake had was flavorful, moist and delicious, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

They send out a complimentary tartine to start the meal and surprised us with homemade strawberry ice cream and birthday candle at the end. They send out food was great and the service was absolutely spectacular.“

“The wings were very good. However, the gumbo was not. It was very skimpy on the meat, and I didn’t find any okra at all. It was also a bit under-seasoned for my taste.

The Henry Pineapple Peach drink was good, but in my opinion, it wasn’t quite enough to share.

That said, Jordan was great! I hope I get seated in his section next time. He was very patient while we were being indecisive and provided excellent service throughout our visit.

The service was beyond exceptional… the manager DeShawn was keeping the ship tight and running smoothly, the food is definitely a 10/10 and that mimosa tower was towering…. “Now… let me explain…. There was no AC, and the manager Xavier seemed very ancy and unfortunately wasn’t very welcoming. BUT, Maekenzie made the expirence sooo much better. Her welcoming presence took the attention away from the heat and lit up the empty room. I asked about the lavender lemonade and she had mentioned she made it-so I tried it. FYI IT WAS AMAZING the lavender taste wasn’t to strong and made the drink verrryy unique. I tried the fries, fried chicken which was fried to perfection and tasty!!!I enjoyed the salmon Alfredo also. Everything was cooked very well and balanced.“

Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. Very reasonable priced for quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend.“

“First time visiting this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork chops with gravy ( ask for extra) , collard greens and Mac and cheese. My daughter had the baked chicken with the creole sauce 😋 with Mac and candied yams or sweet potatoes
So Good. Finished with the bread pudding and ice cream and banana pudding for dessert.. did not disappoint. The service with Bridgett was great, attentive, warming and friendly. Food was served timely. Not slow but just right. ❤💯Will come again!!“

“We decided to get lunch here and were glad we did on our visit the week before the 4th. The place was very busy yet we were seated and our drink orders taken quickly.
We ordered our food and enjoyed our drinks talking about our day when our food arrived. I got the usual cheeseburger while the wife ordered shrimp and grits. Oh, I shouldn't forget my side of succotash.
Everything tasted great, the food was well done and delicious. Wife could not finish her dinner while I did not eat my chips as I wanted the succotash and brought the chips along with us for a later snack.

“Traveling in town for work and have been looking for a “home cooked meal” I’ve eaten 40 different places since I got here two months ago and this meal was just what I needed. I tried meat loaf, Mac n cheese, corn, string beans, stuffing, candied sweet potatoes and of course the sweet potato pie. All delicious, nice and hot even after my walk home! Will definitely be back again!“

Mr Young and his wonderful wife are in South Korea and the business has been sold (handed off) to the same owners are the tobacco shop next store. The same workers still work at Youngs (as of 2 weeks ago when I was last in there); but the hours of operation may need to be updated.“

“I frequent Carolina Kitchen weekly, sometimes twice in one week. The food is delicious, especially the stewed chicken, beef bbq ribs, cabbage, greens and black eye peas as well as their baked beans. “I love the food at EllaRay’s Cafe. I go there every week. I usually call my order in and pick it up in 15 or 20 minutes. I prefer the vegetable platter and an extra side of beans. The portions are enough for two meals for me. I love breakfast there also. Glad I discovered them.“
