“Dining in Succotash was a pleasant experience. The interior is beautiful and the staff is friendly. As a fan of the Culinary Show, we are lucky to have tasted KY fried tofu and Ribeye Kalbi appeared on the show. I strongly recommend the Ribeye. It was very juicy and satisfying.“

“I ordered fried baby back ribs on May 29, ticket number 148 from the restaurant in Oxon Hill, I have ordered these before and they were delicious. But this time the ribs were hard a scrawny with very little meat on them. Some of the pieces looked as though the meat had been cut away as if there was a spoiled spot on the ribs. Before the ribs had plenty of meat and was juicy. I will not be ordering these again. Please do better. Thank you“

“My 5yr old son was bullied all day on his bday yesterday I picked him up crying went to honeys in tears because I felt so bad for him. not only did they make a donut extra special for him they sung him happy birthday and gave us amazing service. They’re donuts are amazing but their staff are even better“

“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. The crab cake appetizers and shrimp and grits with lobster tail entree were amazing. We had a great time and we’ll be back!“

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. I will definitely dine there in the near future. The lemon cake had was flavorful, moist and delicious, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Such a cool location. We were in a private room downstairs and it felt like a speakeasy. The service was outstanding. I don't usually like Mac and cheese at restaurants, but it was so good. The chicken and waffles and cornbread were also tasty. Highly recommended!!“

“Honestly, this was the best and most unique meal I've had in a long time. We shared the Pimento cheese which was wonderful. I had the Pennsylvania Pekin Duck. I had never had duck before and this dish had duck breast and a fried leg. Both were amazing. It was impossible to choose a favorite. I'm sure duck is ruined for me now. Oh and for desert we had Coffee and Cigarettes, which was served in an ash tray. I've never had an experience like that with something I was eating. I was honestly blown away. That's just the food. “The wings were very good. However, the gumbo was not. It was very skimpy on the meat, and I didn’t find any okra at all. It was also a bit under-seasoned for my taste.

The Henry Pineapple Peach drink was good, but in my opinion, it wasn’t quite enough to share.

That said, Jordan was great! I hope I get seated in his section next time. He was very patient while we were being indecisive and provided excellent service throughout our visit.

“Our organization had an after Capital Hill dinner at the Milk & Honey Restaurant last night and the Atmosphere, Food, and Staff were all exceptional. They had a DJ playing music and everyone was up dancing and had a great time.

I highly recommend the staff, food, and the restaurant, for your next visit, party or organizational event to be held here.“

“This was a fabulous find. Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. Very reasonable priced for quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend.“

“First time visiting this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork chops with gravy ( ask for extra) , collard greens and Mac and cheese. My daughter had the baked chicken with the creole sauce 😋 with Mac and candied yams or sweet potatoes

“I frequent Carolina Kitchen weekly, sometimes twice in one week. The food is delicious, especially the stewed chicken, beef bbq ribs, cabbage, greens and black eye peas as well as their baked beans. The food is seasoned appropriately, not too salty or bland, just right. The staff is superb. I recommend Carolina Kitchen to anyone who appreciates good food.“

“Honestly, this was the best service I’ve ever received! Our server/waiter was Nick and he truly made our day. So much so that we decided to leave him a substantial tip. Nick is very social aware, knowledgeable about their restaurant and items, and he thouroghly explains the highlights of their menu and a brief history of their establishment. He regularly checked in during our dinner but what really sets him apart is his high charismatic and warming energy. This was not only for our table but the surrounding tables as well. Extremely respectful and kind, and a prior service member !

Some of the vegetables may have come from Washington’s historic kitchen garden, which we had seen just half an hour earlier on a tour led by an informative guide in colonial dress.“

Mr Young and his wonderful wife are in South Korea and the business has been sold (handed off) to the same owners are the tobacco shop next store. The same workers still work at Youngs (as of 2 weeks ago when I was last in there); but the hours of operation may need to be updated.“

“I love the food at EllaRay’s Cafe. I go there every week. I usually call my order in and pick it up in 15 or 20 minutes. I prefer the vegetable platter and an extra side of beans. The portions are enough for two meals for me. I love breakfast there also. Glad I discovered them.“
