Dessert Restaurants near Kensington, MD

“Our family's favorite. Proud Crave Card powerusers! They are always coming up with new and delish flavors of ices, pops, custard, drinks, and every kind of dessert you can imagine. Plus they offer coffee and breakfast! . The Fall Gelatis are our go-to desserts. I just wish they would post the flavors of the day online, but that would be hard because there are so many!“

“Loved the variety of flavors and toppings! Family and kid friendly it was very delicious“

“Delicious cookies and always friendly staff. Great for celebrations or just a treat to brighten your or someone else’s day! Something for everyone’s taste. There are a few regular flavors (sugar, chocolate chip…) and then 4 or more other flavors that change each week. I recommend placing your order on the app. You’ll get points toward free cookies and a cookie on your bday.“

“Just did the cupcake monster decorating class at the Waldorf location and they were so sweet. My daughter asked for mermaid decorations and Chef Tai put some chocolate into a mold and into the freezer on the fly. She also did bats and ghosts on request, it was so, so sweet. Kids (4 and 3) loved it, and super tasty, too! Will definitely be back!“

“I came to insomnia today after a long day of work and was greeted so kindly by this girl name liyah. she had amazing customer service, was very attentive and so kind, i really enjoyed my conversation with her, she gave me my cookies really quick and was very kind, overall amazing experience and great customer service!“

“Chip City is one of my favorite spots in Clarendon. I’ve enjoyed many a cookie and ice cream here with a friend. Flavors are always good, and the staff are friendly. The interior is very clean, but not the most welcoming place to sit and eat. Thankfully, there is plenty of seating outside in the pretty courtyard area. Honestly, the cookies are pretty pricey, but it’s what you get for a luxury treat in the DMV.“

“A big shout out to Charlotte at the H Street store in DC. Every time I'm in there, she kills it with her customer service! 👍“

“My car was broke down in the middle of the street, next thing I know the Clayboys drive by and stop, saving the day. Billy took time out of his day on the nicest day of the summer to help my mom and I get my car started. Truly great business run by even better people.“

“Love this place. Love the fresh warm tasting cookies. Even though I know they are not super fresh they still taste great! Even when I order online they come to my door warm and delicious. I like to try the seasonal flavors but snickerdoodle and peanut butter are my favs.“

“I received chocolates from here for Mother's Day and not only were they delicious but they were absolutely beautiful too. My eight year old son also commented that the lady working here was super nice and friendly as well. Thank you so much for making my day extra special!“

“Came to DC with my 9 year old for a concert. When we stepped out, we smelled something most delicious and followed the scent all the way here. It was incredible. Then the attendant said they can scoop ice cream on top of their cookies. And THEN it became insane. Best cookies ever!“

“Shay was so amazing, friendly, and attentive from the moment I walked in to the moment I checked out. I received incredible customer service from her as well as a great positive attitude! I will absolutely be coming back to this Crumbl because of Shay!!!!“

“Lazy Mike’s is a classic neighborhood diner serving vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. You can substitute vegan meats for lots of the meat dishes including hot dogs, impossible burger patties, and veggie sausage. They even have vegan sorbet at the ice cream counter. Pretty reasonably priced. Updated from previous review on 2024-05-20“

“When I first came to see Olivia Macaron out in Montgomery Mall, it was no turning back. So grateful for the crew over the last seven years. 2017 until infinity. Much love to you all. 🩷🩷“

“I came across this chocolate shop while shopping in Georgetown, and I decided to check it out. I ordered a large hot chocolate- and I'm sure glad I did. The hot chocolate was the single best hot chocolate I may have had in my life. The drink was rich with flavor unlike other hot chocolates I have had through the years at chain coffee shops or the powdered stuff you make at home. The price for a large was a bit over 10 dollars - so be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. At first, I thought the cost was ridiculous, but the drink lived up to the cost. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Georgetown so I can stop in again.“

“I went here for my birthday (the staff didn’t know it was my birthday at first) and they were some of the most genuinely sweet people I’ve ever interacted with! Then, when they found out about my birthday they went even more above and beyond to make me feel special 🥰 In house I got the cereal milk soft serve with the corn flake crumble and an iced coffee overall an 11/10 ☺️ Very happy with my experience!!“
