I bought a cheesesteak from there Friday night. It didn’t have good taste. No flavor. They did give a nice portion of meat. The french fries were too salty but they were good.
My girlfriend surprised me with a cheesesteak on Valentine's Day! I'm from Uptown, Philly. It was perfect and I will definitely be back when I visit again! I've been all over the world and everyone claims to have an authentic cheesesteak. I'm disappointed every time except this time. This jawn is the real deal 💯

Chunky and Bop's Philadelphia Cheesesteaks and Hoagies receives mixed reviews from its customers. Many praise the delicious food, specifically highlighting the top-notch cheesesteak and the Royal cheesesteak as absolutely delicious. The meat is described as tender and plentiful, with generous serving sizes. The Cheesesteak Stromboli is noted as being very large, capable of feeding a family. Other menu items like the sweet potato fries are called the most amazing fresh fries, while the onion rings and pretzel are also noted as delicious and fresh. The owner's presence and passion, along with great and quick service, are appreciated.
However, some customers express disappointment. Criticisms include the restaurant being expensive, with orders sometimes taking awhile and not being correct. Some feel the food has fallen off in quality, mentioning a cheesesteak that was full of onions and not fried, with a bare bottom. The taste of the meat did not sit well with everyone, and some were disappointed that toppings came on the side. The wait, especially during busy times which can be around 30 minutes, is a common point of frustration. While some consider it one of the best steak and cheese spots locally and would definitely come back, others from Philadelphia found it just okay and not worth the high price.
