“I recently ordered catering from bahama mikes for the first time and boy was I impressed!! The restaurant called to tell me they were upgrading to the plastic display tray for the lunchmeat, no charge. The delivery driver was prompt and on time (5 min early!). The food was piping hot and they even included the tortilla chips I didn’t order at no up charge. The food was delish and all the serving spoons and condiments were the perfect less stress add ons. I will order again and recommend to all! (We frequent the regular menu for carry out, which is also excellent;))“

“First time visiting here. Halal BBQ is a relatively new concept around here and wanted them ncheck it out. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.“

“We visited today for my son’s birthday. We had a large group and it was peak hours on a Saturday. Everything was amazing! Our food came out hot and correct, the entire staff seemed to work together so well and a manager walking around checking in with guests. Our server Brandi was beyond amazing. So friendly and on point. You all are lucky to have her. Bubbas 33 is my son’s absolute favorite and he enjoyed every minute.“

“Wow! We ordered carryout from Ellie’s Tavern and were absolutely blown away. The food was incredible — huge portions, hand-cut fries, house-made blue cheese, and perfectly hand-breaded chicken tenders. The Crab Rangoon dip and Buffalo Cauliflower were outstanding. “One of the tastiest halal spots in the Federal Hill area. I haven't tried the whole menu yet, but everything I've had so far was delicious. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the sweet corn. Parking is a bit tricky around here, so try to avoid peak hours to find a spot easily.“

I’m from the Baltimore area, currently living in Chicago. Thursday July 9th I landed in Baltimore for my wedding celebration. I get off the plane to a message that my caterer needed to cancel due to some completely unexpected circumstances. Things happen, people are more important than parties. But now I have a party on Saturday for 60 people and no food.

I emailed Kooper’s and Rachel got back to me within minutes. She informed me due to the location that their food truck would be the best route however the team was scheduled to be off that Saturday and she just needed to make sure it was a possibility. Within less than ten minutes she confirmed it was a go.

Saturday came and Martis was at the venue WELL before our scheduled time. He and Kayla were INCREDIBLE and all of our guests were so happy with the food. They had something for everyone, including veggie burgers. Everything about this experience exceeded expectations and we are so grateful for the Kooper’s team.“

“My god. The cheesesteak is massive! I got the special that comes with a cheesesteak, fries and a drink. I was thinking maybe they make it smaller bc it’s such a good deal? Nope! It’s huge! I got it with everything on it (lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers and mayo) and American cheese (you can pick your cheese). It was made right then. Super hot and fresh. Soooo good. It’s got the perfect amount of juicy, greasy, melty perfection that I want in a cheesesteak. I want it to make a mess. And it did. Then it comes with a huge amount of fries. “We decided to check this out during the Olympics so that we could watch the events but also get some slightly fancy dining on a Saturday. The interior is cozy but well decorated and has plenty of seats for a smaller bar. We didn’t explore the upstairs but there is a staircase in the center. They also had plenty of outdoor seats. We decided to focus on the specials and tried the grilled octopus dish which was fantastic, it came with some nicely grilled veggies and a delicious spread of hummus which all came together for a very balanced and flavorful bite. As a side we opted for the couscous instead of fries or rice. The couscous was nicely seasoned and came with veggies as well. All in all it was a delicious, balanced and healthy meal that was excellently prepared!“

“My friend and I visited this lounge for the first time last month. It is a BEAUTIFUL lounge. A great atmosphere and gorgeous ambiance. The bartender was very nice. However, our experience could have been better for a couple reasons: First, a lot of the items on the food menu were unavailable! Maybe the lounge was waiting for a food inventory delivery? Who knows? My friend tried to order three food items off the menu, and for each item the bartender said “I have to check with the kitchen to see if we have it!” They didn’t have the three items. My friend settled for the steamed shrimp. 🤷🏾‍♀️ My second and last issue/complaint: We both ordered a delicious pink martini-style drink (I forgot the exact name). The drink was good but it was mainly juice/sugar/grenadine— it hardly had any alcohol. It tasted like we were drinking a really good pink lemonade beverage lol. I will give this lounge another chance and most likely several more chances because it’s near my house. They should just stop skimping on the alcohol and have most menu items in stock!“

When I get to the window she always greets me with a smile, she's very patient, friendly, and provides excellent customer service skills. She treats me like a valued customer. “This was my first time trying this establishment. I did notice you had to wait for a few minutes, while the lovely lady was in the back. She did acknowledge us and expressed, she’ll be right with you. Please be patient, the wait wasn’t long, and it was worth the wait. I ordered the Turkey Reuben and my brother ordered the roasted wing platter. He got cabbage and Mac n cheese for his sides. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture. But, it was good. I will definitely be back to try the honey lemon pepper wings and the jive turkey.“

“I've never been inside the actual store. My review is based purely on delivery service. I was extremely hungry last night so I decided to give this place a try. To my surprise, the food was pretty good. I had the orange flavored wings and they were soooo delicious. I'm very picky with wings and very much dislike huge wings. It was nice to see that they have normal sized wings. I also tried the cheeses teak. I would give it a solid 7/10. There was alot of meat and cheese and the peppers and onions were cooked until soft which I like. Just needed a bit more seasoning IMO. I would definitely give them another try and plan to!“

“We are a local business and we ordered 25 pizzas for a holiday party. Best prices around and the pizza was delicious. Called the day of to confirm 6 pm delivery. 6pm the driver walked in the door. He was incredible nice and helped set up the pizzas. We are a few miles away and it was rush hour. The pizzas were so hot that we had to wait a few for them to cook down. One of the best pizza places that I have purchased from and will definitely order from them again.“

The burger was great with some really tasty onions on top and a nice balance of the teriyaki on the burger. The churro was also delicious with a nice soft bitter chocolate flavor to the dipping sauce that balanced well with the sweetness of the churro. I love the idea of being able to do arts and crafts while enjoying a drink and some food with friends after work. We could see how lovely it got shortly after the end of the work day and there was even a jewelry class going on while we were there. “Carroll and Son Fine Foods might possibly be the best food option in the Medfield/Woodberry/Tv Hill/Hampden area. They care about the quality of their food products and have an option for everyone, making their inclusive menu a great choice. It’s located inside of Union Brewery over on 41st. They have a spacious parking lot that can accommodate huge parties of people. I’d say it’s a fusion between Baltimore BBQ and top quality bar food, with overall a focus in good food. The cooks are experienced and every meal has that consistent quality time and time again. I’d give this little hole in the wall a 10/10 on quality, food delivery, kindness, uniqueness and respect their evolving culture and menu. You can bring yourself, your family, friends, coworkers, or anyone in between. Just go hungry.
