“My daughter and I frequent this establishment at least 2 to 3 times a month. My favorites are the honey mustard and garlic parmesan buffalo wings. I usually do a 10 piece half and half with fries and blue cheese dressing.....absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well so give them a try, you may be pleasantly pleased.“

“What can I say about this place. It’s truly a hidden gem in Bowie. I have never been a fan of ramen until Sakura popped up. The prices are so affordable for the excellent quality food you’re getting. The portions are great! The free miso soup is great. The Chicken Karaage is the most tender nuggets of fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. My BF and I had the Volcano Ramen and the Miso Ramen which were so filling and flavorful. The owner came out and talked to us about his 8+hr broth process and you can definitely taste it. He was so passionate about his food. We love it here and will be here on the regular. “I got the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was rich. The slices of pork were fresh, juicy, tender, slightly sweet, and abundant. There were at least 6 slices in that bowl. The assortment of vegetables and narutomaki added unique, delicious tastes and textures to the dish. Their food presentation is perfect. You'd have to see it to believe it. The ramen actually looks like it's straight out of those food commercials and restaurant food posters. All in all, it's a great place to eat.“

“After a nature walk at Watkins Park, decided to stop here for a quick dinner pick up. The prices and quantity were fabulous. Welcoming and quick service. Generous amounts of salmon and shrimp in/on my sushi so it was a great value. Unfortunately, the rice was pretty bland. As a sushi connoisseur, I keep furikake and rice vinegar on hand. The Cherry Blossom was decent.

Recommend they pitch the soy sauce because it was tasteless. ?

“This really cute little Japanese shop was a great experience. On the simple side, but sushi was delicious and my friends enjoyed their food as well (one got chicken soup, and one got chicken teriyaki noodles). The workers were also very welcoming and nice, especially when they learned it was our first time coming to eat there. Reasonable priced, will be back again :)“

“Hidden Gem (at least I didn’t know about it lol) I happened upon it and decided to give it a shot. I was the only diner so I had the place to myself.

Solid sushi without the pomp and circumstance. Volcano roll was good!

“Horu Sushi is the best sushi in a large radius, highly recommend to anyone who loves sushi. The eel roll is my current favorite. It’s the best vendor in Le Fantome Food Hall and we are so spoiled to have this level of taste in our neighborhood.

We also love their ramen which is legit

You can even go for happy hour at the bar and eat the sushi there with your drink!

“Great value and great taste! worth driving to.This is a no-frills place that doesn’t mandate tips or surcharges and will give you good size tasty food.We got two specialty sushi rolls and chicken&beef+ vegetables and noodles.I was hesitant to get the sushi here because everyone says to get sushi from fancy places only, but I gave it a shot. “I have had gastro issues for about a week, and I have had a hard time eating without feeling sick or running to the bathroom, however since I started feeling better today I have been craving Pho. My boyfriend was in the area and decided to stop for a Poke bowl and noticed that there was Pho on the menu so he got me the combination and it was delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, the meat cuts were tender, and the veggies were crisp and fresh. I’m looking forward to trying more entrees, but if nothing else I know the Pho is good.“

“I watched a co-worker having what I referred to as "a food fantasy". They recommended this particular location for its service and food. My waze directed me to the location which is adjacent to the JCPENNEY parking lot in a strip with 2 other businesses.I arrived midday and was welcomed by a pleasant woman near the door. Within 5-10 minutes my meal was prepared which was a combo of teriyaki chicken and shrimp with veggies, noodles, green onions, sesame seeds and extra sauce.The staff was very pleasant and appeared to work well together as a team. The portions were generous and I would definitely eat there again. After I got home I too had "a food fantasy". My vegetables were perfectly cooked, not hard or overcooked. The meats were tender, fresh and flavorable.I have since eaten at two other locations and have come back to this one for a new combo. This time I added steak and the next time I will add salmon which came highly recommended by many people.I would definitely recommend this location, the service and the food options.

“Their Tiger Roll is by far the best shrimp tempura roll I’ve ever had. So good I ate it twice in one day and I don’t live right around the corner either. Plus their prices are awesome, especially when calling in to pickup rather than using a delivery service. “This was My first time at Super Japan. I was looking for some Teriyaki Chicken to support Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Trying different food from different cultures is one of the things I Love. The Food was good and the cashier was friendly. The food came out quick and was hot. The tables were clean.“

“The world famous chicken teriyaki from Sarku Japan. Often imitated but this is the one. The chicken is tender and juicy, I get the double meat because I enjoy it so much. The sauce is just sweet enough the rice is fresh and so are the vegetables.“

“Went fairly late on a Saturday night. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Loved the decor. Menu was huge, particularly the sushi section, but they had lots of Chinese and Thai options, too. I got fried tofu and the Tokyo roll (tuna, yellowtail, and avocado), boyfriend got crab rangoon and Pad Thai, we both found everything delicious. Service was very fast and attentive, although that may have been because we were the only ones there. They also had a lot of sake varieties.“

“I spotted this restaurant while traveling south on Route 3 headed for an SCA event. I found it on the way back. It is located at the intersection of Route 3 and Route 424 across Route 3 from the Giant Food Store in the Crofton Princess Shopping Center. Currently, the first entrance to the shopping center is blocked by construction equipment. The Kodo is located on the level facing Route 3. I ordered a couple of sushi rolls at the sushi bar. The food was very good. The rolls had the proper amount of rice, in other words, not mostly rice and a little fish, quite the opposite. Very good. The iced tea was actually oriental tea, not orange pekoe. The restaurant is setup primarily for Habachi but does have a nice sushi bar with a couple of big screen TVs, muted. Service was good and efficient.“
