I'd call it a pub in the sense that it's more of the family and friend meeting place than a country club restaurant. We've been down there for years as they host the community Christmas tree lighting where Santa visits to throw the switch and visit with all of the neighborhood kids. Food is standard pub fare with some more deli style sandwiches and service is perfect. If the Ironwood comes back as an option when you search restaurants, don't ignore it. You'll love, especially in the warmer months, the chance to eat outside with a view of the golfers wasting all of their good swings on the driving range.“

“My wife and I went here for Sunday brunch. My wife had pancakes with a side of sausage gravy and I had the crab eggs Benedict. Both were excellent. The pancakes were big and fluffy and the sausage gravy had a good amount of sausage chunks. It was lightly spicey. My eggs benny had plenty of delicious crab, well poached eggs and two large slices of ham. The flavors combined perfectly. Our server was friendly, accurate and efficient.“

“Again everything was great. The staff looked like they had just witnessed a dog brutally ran over. They moved like molasses in January. Not a smile could be found. The wait was equivalent to bording an Aircraft. 40-50 minutes. The entrance and exit door game is hilarious to watch as the rug that 80% of the people trip over.“

“1.5 HOUR DINING LIMIT!!!! Chief's will always be one of our favorites! The food is terrific 100% of the time, year after year. The staff work really hard to make us feel welcome and attend to all food/beverage needs. My one criticism (and everyone I've spoken to feels the same) is the 1.5 hour limit for dining. We don't go out for a leisurely dinner often, so when we do, we like to order appetizers, main courses, desserts and plenty of drinks. When you find yourselves a minute into dessert and a fresh round of drinks, and it's time to pay the $250-$300 check and leave b/c the 1.5 hour limit is up, it's a total bummer! This time, we actually had to pick up our desserts & drinks and find room [for only some of our party] at the bar, so we could finish. If you are going to have a time limit, put a timer on the table. At least that way, when your time is almost up, you can forget about ordering the desserts and last round of drinks. It was too embarrassing to rush to carry the rest of our meal to the bar, just so we could finish what we paid for.“

“We had dinner there this evening, and everything was great. The server was so sweet and helpful. She helped one of our kids with us to figure out what sushi he actually wanted. She was on top of it with drinks, food, boxes and cleanup. The chef was fantastic! He was funny, talented in his skill and the food was delicious. We were told at the end that he was the owner, which made the whole interaction even better. He took the time to do his job and talk to us, all while getting ready to feed a party of 80 people. “Yes Sundays after Church services are usually busy. but this was no more than normal. We were seated in a few minutes, order was taken with 5 to 7 minutes (we knew what we wanted). Okay, every sounds good so far. our drinks (water No ice an lemon) arrived almost 15 minutes later.
20 minutes later my house salad arrived, finally our entrees and sides without requested biscuits after another 20 minutes. We asked our server about our biscuits, she brought them out after another 10 minutes.
