Restaurantji unveils Lusby's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“This is the best Mexican Restaurant in all of Southern Maryland it was worth the travel from LTown To The Park Just To try his mexican food! and Let me tell you Them Birria Quesadillas smack they will resonate with you’re soul and that Horchata doesn’t play neither the only con about that is there is no refills for that at least there should be a fee for the Horchata because i’d definitely double back for that Horchata ? No more complaints Pepe! He treats you like his own for real dude has an immense amount of love for all of his customers i’ll definitely be coming back when I can soon Pepe! p.s his customer service is top tier you’ll never leave here un-satisfied!“
“I’ve been eyeing this place since we moved here last month. I stopped in today and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Birria quesadilla pizza, pork tamale, chunky guacamole and a breakfast platter to split between the family.Quesadilla Pizza: Pretty soggy on the bottom, not cut very well and had an excessive amount of cheese. I couldn’t really taste the meat at all. I don’t think I’d order this again.Pork Tamale: Absolutely delicious! I topped it with some of the chunky guacamole and avocado salsa. I absolutely loved the avocado salsa!Chunky Guacamole: Prepared and served like chopped pico. It was delicious and fresh! One bowl could serve several people.Breakfast platter: Combo #7 very large platter! My husband liked it and still had a decent amount he had to bring home.I really enjoyed the complimentary salsa bar. I just wish it wasn’t so low to the ground. I’m only 5”3 and due to the protection shield I really had to bend down and get under the shield to get the items. It was a bit awkwardand uncomfortable.“
“First time here, a coworker recommended it as this is her favorite spot. The one that is south of NAS Patuxent River gate 3 is great. But this one is amazing. They step up to the plate on every single aspect of the restaurant service experience. The food, taste, proportion, and presentation are all top tier. But because of this, it gets packed fast.“
“Food was very good. I shared the fajitas for 2 with my wife and it was enough for three. The service was bad. The hostess was downright rude. Greeted us with a big frown on her face and said, how many. Then walked us to our table plopped down our menus and walked away without saying a word. The waitress was super busy and did a decent job. They really needed another waitress to help. Having said all that, I think this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area.“
“We needed to eat at a place where we were assured of quality food and quick service because we had to go to my grandson's play, so of course we chose Salsas!! We have always been very satisfied with not only the service but the quality of the food there. I highly recommend Salsas for those very reasons as well as the accessibility and parking. A++“
