“My husband I went here today in hopes to have a nice lunchtime meal. They tried sitting us at a super tiny high top table that was smashed up against an older couple at a low top table and we asked for another table in which they accommodated (my husband is 6'2 and 250lbs).Had a wonderful waitress who was attentive and refreshing.Ordered the tuna as an appetizer and it was delish. Kind of hard to mess that kind of dish up! My husband ordered the French onion soup which he said was really salty but he ate it with the bread. They had a cayenne honey butter available for the bread but I didnt particularly enjoy it. All i tasted was the cayenne after taste and really no honey or butter. I ordered the portabella mushroom entree which was really really good. He had the meatloaf which was good but he said wasn't worth the $24 price.Apologies for not taking pics of the entrees.“
“This place is a country bar with a with a lot of regulars. I generally only get here in the fall when I'm in the Glenville area hunting. The people here are nice and the food is pretty good. Always a nice place to stop at after being in the field all day. Just one thing, they allow smoking inside. Minus the smoking, I always enjoy myself here.“
“This review might be under my wife's name, but she is not the one writing it. OMG! I am so glad that Ernie's is still there. I have been living in California for the past 34 years, but I used to live at Rosser's Choice Apts across the street back in the early '80's. Yep, there were fights there. I walked in there one evening after my college classes to get a six pack of beer and sure enough, they were cleaning up after a big ol' fight around the pool table. There were broken cue sticks and balls all over the place. I'll never forget one bludgeoned guy reaching across the carnage exclaiming, "Hey Ernie, I'll help clean up, but let me get ma' beer." On another occasion, my shirtless neighbor got arrested there just like on an episode of Cops. On another occasion, I came home from classes and while walking up my steps I could hear someone in the parking lot of Ernie's smashing a guy's head into the windshield of a car as the victim kept yelling, "YOU CAN HAVE HER, MAN." I miss Westminster! I'm glad that Ernie's has survied and it outlived The Pit, another fine establishment! When I go back someday to visit my brother, I want to go there!“
“Restaurant was clean, warm and comfortable environment. Our server Adina was amazing. Her timing was perfect. She brought the food right after it was prepared because our meals were still hot. They offer gluten-free. I had the shrimp scampi with penne pasta and it was not that good. There were only five medium shrimp. The sauce was very salty it was more like a broth and only a few pieces of tomato. I didn't taste any garlic or olive oil.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free.Parking: Easy access from Main Street.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Sweet Residential Course Where They Also Brew Their Own Beer.... I Tend To Be More Forgiving With Course Cosmetics At A Residential Track Due To Funding... Also, Just Grateful For These Wonderful Folk And What They've Given.... Get Out And Throw!!!“
“Wow Delicious food, Great people, great service. If I had ⁷a beautiful woman in my life I would surely take her here on Valitines Day. This place just has the perfect Romatic atmosphere. . I was stuffed. Man that was DELICIOUS. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS PLACE. ENJOY.“
“Everything is great except for the chicken tenders. Thought I would try something different for a change and here I am making food for myself at home still. If you like glued together pieces of rubbery chicken "meat" for tenders that kids normally eat, then these are for you! Super disappointing considering they serve fresh fried chicken and wings, but their chicken tenders aren't even real chicken. I fed them to my dogs, because that's all they were good for. They seemed to enjoy them but that doesn't mean much considering they eat just about anything“
“The two missing stars car because number one I thought the place was kind of noisy and B I always ask the waiter well how are you doing and he proceeded to tell us this long story about a car wreck he was in the day before.Overall it was a good experience, good food, decent price.Parking: There is a good amount of parking, what is kind of tight. But what are you going to do? Move the buildings on either side?“
“Is you live in Hanover you must, I mean must frequent this business. The food is amazing, the delivery is crazy fast and trust me when I say that Pop's Chips are the reason that potatoes exist. We order for delivery at least 12-15 times per year, I would double that amount of it were possible, these folks Rock. I am so glad to have yet another Hanover Pennsylvania business to support. Please try them out, I promise that you will be blown away.“
“We went to O’Lardens today for the first time and absolutely will be back. They were packed since there was a local race and bar crawl occurring but we were able to be seated. We had to sit outside in an enclosed are which wasn’t the best since it wS cold and raining but we were happy to still be able to try the restaurant. We started with the crab dip and potato leek soup and they were great! The bangers and mash were amazing though. We shared everything and even left with leftovers. The staff was so kind and we can’t wait to try the fish and chips next time. We saw someone with it and it looked great. We also saw someone eating the bread pudding and it looked fabulous. Can’t wait to come again!“
“We are frequent visitors and enjoy the whole experience. The food is great. The staff is outstanding. Lots of events almost nightly. Definitely check this place out if you've never been.Parking: Too many spaces to count. Never a problem finding a place to park.“
“I love how this hidden gem is tucked away off of main st. The staff is always friendly and personable. I’ve been going for 5-6 years and I enjoy my time I’ve spent there. I’ve met a few people and have had some good conversations with other patrons and staff too. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new place to enjoy some cocktails.“
