“I had the bacon cheese burger it was excellent. My wife had chicken and liked it too. The whole place was very clean. The service was outstanding. We never had to worry about needing anything. I've been to four black hogs. And I'd put this one as number 2 as far as my favorite one. But it very close to number 1. I'll go back again. Good job guys!!“

“The atmosphere here is very nice with clean updated furniture and great Mexican music. The flavors were amazing. The chicken tortilla soup was delicious, but maybe could use a little more heat, imo. “As a transplant from Texas, we have been searching and trying a lot of Mexican restaurants. This little restaurant tucked away in a shopping center was a pleasant surprise. Wife liked her margarita and beef enchiladas. I enjoyed my carne asada with yucca and plantains. It is probably one of the better Mexican (type) restaurants in Fredrick area if we do not consider Guapo’s and Ixtapalapa.“

“This place is what it is! It hasn't changed and is an excellent place to go and have a great time. Staff is friendly and drinks are always available. Food is cooked fresh and delicious. Hamburgers are the best.Parking: They have a large stone parking lot.“

“Stopped in on our way through town. Greeted by Jessica who apologized for the delay and asked for our patience. She took our drink order and brought our drinks over a few minutes later. We were then greeted by Craig, who was very friendly and outgoing. Both he and Jessica took their time giving their menu recommendations on a very slammed Sunday evening. I ordered the seafood flatbread. It was AMAZING!!!! The amazing food, very friendly staff… if I’m ever in the area again, I will defiantly be stopping in!!! Thank you Craig and Jessica!!“

“My daughter and I had spent an afternoon in Frederick and wanted to try this place because I had heard of it before, so it was our first time being here and it was a very early dinner for us. I didn't realize how expensive dinner was the plate I was looking to order was $40 and I just couldn't justify that on that day because I had already spent so much money. The receptionist tried to make me go upstairs and then try to make me sit in some high chairs after I told her that I had a bad knee, so that was kind of annoying. But our waiter was a delight, and super friendly. While we were waiting for our dinner which was a salad and an order of poutine, a nice young man brought us over a sample of some soup. That soup was delicious! In fact everything we had was delicious including the French onion soup that I ordered. I had never had a french onion soup like that it was probably the best ever! We would definitely be back for lunch and a butterscotch creme brulee that I didn't get to order because I was stuffed and we had to run.“

“Amazing food, excellent service. Can't say enough positive things about Wags. Recommend for anyone visiting downtown. Keep an eye open for the entrance as it's about ten steps below street level. I had the Grilled Cheese hamburger and a cup of White Bean soup, both specials the day I visited.“
