“I would like to share how lovely last night's private chef meal experience was with The Bell House Catering on 03/16/24. A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. Thank you to the Brien Family for such a gesture of love, and for my friends that made time to be there. It was a beautiful evening. We love you and are grateful for you. Christina helped us fit our budget and was very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. She was also flexible and supportive when we had to reschedule twice due to COVID. Christina helped us to create a cohesive look for our rentals (linens, chargers, silverware, glassware, etc.) and visited our venue with us to discuss final details. She let us make changes leading up to the wedding and was so easy to work with. Her crab dip is absolutely incredible! “This restaurant was so surprising! Our party of 7 met there for dinner last night on the recommendation of our Aunt who lives nearby. Several of us had the Rockfish special which was excellent! The desserts are homemade and of excellent quality. They had the best carrot cake I have EVER had! And my husband loved the Peanutbutter Pie.

“I can't say enough good things about Saucy Salamander! From the moment we started chatting with Rhonda about possibly using them for our wedding catering, I felt taken care of. Rhonda has been in the business for decades and really knows what she's doing. From day one, she was caring, attentive, professional, creative, and always easy to reach! She went above and beyond what I would expect from a wedding caterer - helping us with rentals, floorplan, moral support, etc. We ended up hiring Rhonda for both nights of our wedding weekend (one day for a 30 person 4-course sit down dinner, the next day for 150 people stations/cocktail style) and we got SO many compliments about the food both nights! Truly delicious, plentiful, and unique!! Her staff was lovely and hard working as well, bartenders included!

We could not recommend any better caterer for your event. The cost was very reasonable, the food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and working with Rhonda was a dream from start to finish. You can tell that she really cares about what she does and she takes great pride in her craft. :)

“My family and I have enjoyed Devens Deli for a few decades now. Deven, Hetal and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing people who make amazing food. When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. Hetal makes THE BEST chocolate eggs around the Easter season and my son and I made it a tradition to get them every year!! “Our 'Sip and See' (Welcoming our new grandson) event was fabulous. Our servers, Patty and Jackie were magnificent, making myself and all of my guests feel not only welcome and comfortable but very special.
Everything was so smooth and accommodating from arrival to set up, (so particular and they know what they were doing!), to running the event to breaking down, clean up and departure.
The service was superb, I can’t speak highly enough of them. Compliments to the Chef as well- EVERYONE raved about the food.

“I ordered collard greens and a turkey wing sandwich.it was delicious. The seasoning was great. The collard greens yum. Turkey wing. Seasoning perfect. Seasoned but not spicy. Yum I like it that way.
The service was very good. The staff was very nice.
There was an unhappy customer. Wanted a refund but had eaten some of the food. How can you ask for a full refund? Very loud. When customers left, they offered us a slice of cake/pie to apologize for the incident. Wow! Speaks volumes for the quality of the restaurant.

“I have been going here for years. The New Ownership & Team are the Best. They always have my Favorite Moonshine when I stop by. In the event which is rare they don’t you better believe they are True to their word when they give me a day to come back that they will have it plus more.
I always feel Welcomed with feeling like I’ve known these guys all my life. There memories are sharp too. You buy there once and come again and you better bet they know what you are drinking. PRICES$$ Excellent compared to surrounding Liquor Stores. My MoonShine is OverPriced at a few Liquor Stores within a few miles of Lighthouse. I used to Faithfully go to one of them but when I feel taken advantage of ,I tend to deal with only the True Honest and Understanding Local Owners that get what we all have been through these past years of our lives.
