“I would like to share how lovely last night's private chef meal experience was with The Bell House Catering on 03/16/24. A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. Thank you to the Brien Family for such a gesture of love, and for my friends that made time to be there. It was a beautiful evening. We love you and are grateful for you. Christina helped us fit our budget and was very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. She was also flexible and supportive when we had to reschedule twice due to COVID. Christina helped us to create a cohesive look for our rentals (linens, chargers, silverware, glassware, etc.) and visited our venue with us to discuss final details. She let us make changes leading up to the wedding and was so easy to work with. Her crab dip is absolutely incredible! We got to enjoy it twice during our wedding weekend, because she gave us some extra to go. All of the food looked beautiful and tasted fantastic at the reception. “I can't say enough good things about Saucy Salamander! From the moment we started chatting with Rhonda about possibly using them for our wedding catering, I felt taken care of. Rhonda has been in the business for decades and really knows what she's doing. From day one, she was caring, attentive, professional, creative, and always easy to reach! She went above and beyond what I would expect from a wedding caterer - helping us with rentals, floorplan, moral support, etc. We ended up hiring Rhonda for both nights of our wedding weekend (one day for a 30 person 4-course sit down dinner, the next day for 150 people stations/cocktail style) and we got SO many compliments about the food both nights! Truly delicious, plentiful, and unique!! Her staff was lovely and hard working as well, bartenders included!

When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. “I ordered collard greens and a turkey wing sandwich.it was delicious. The seasoning was great. The collard greens yum. Turkey wing. Seasoning perfect. Seasoned but not spicy. Yum I like it that way.
The service was very good. The staff was very nice.
There was an unhappy customer. Wanted a refund but had eaten some of the food. How can you ask for a full refund? Very loud. When customers left, they offered us a slice of cake/pie to apologize for the incident. Wow! Speaks volumes for the quality of the restaurant.

I always feel Welcomed with feeling like I’ve known these guys all my life. There memories are sharp too. You buy there once and come again and you better bet they know what you are drinking. PRICES$$ Excellent compared to surrounding Liquor Stores. My MoonShine is OverPriced at a few Liquor Stores within a few miles of Lighthouse. I used to Faithfully go to one of them but when I feel taken advantage of ,I tend to deal with only the True Honest and Understanding Local Owners that get what we all have been through these past years of our lives.

I am from New England and a lobster snob….most places in Annapolis overcook lobster, so the claws are tough, the legs have no moisture and the tail is OK, but not great. This is the fourth lobster, over 12 months, that I have ordered from Pit Boys and all have been huge, perfectly steamed and such a joy to eat. Do not miss the lobster dinners….great sides, large lobsters and great prices. Thank you Pit Boys for making this Yankee a happy girl. They even deliver through Uber Eats….👍🏻“
