I know it's the Superbowl but I really can't accept this experience. Driver was amazing even went back to the restaurant to get an extra pizza. Reason why because our order took over 2 hours to get here and unfortunately they didn't even bring us 1 of the pizza we actually ordered. We got 2 random meat covered pizzas and all we ordered was extra cheese & chicken. The extra pizza was nice but I'm still not happy with getting 2 pizzas I can't eat. Wings are good but this was a terrible experience. Glad I ordered them since it was the only think I could eat from a $50 order. I think what we originally ordered would've been good and I could've eaten this one if not for the other meats. Ordered through slice.“

However the store manger (Dimas) was so caring, energetic, happy, his customers service is magnificent and as him being a manager and he is phenomenal and I think he allows him to grow more with you all. “Many people have described this place as the best pizza in DC. While it is good and definitely has that classic NYC style, it was not five star pizza. I got the Classic Pepperoni signature pizza with burrata and hot honey - very tasty.

I got it for takeout which may have also contributed to quality of the pie. A really nice touch was that they put the buratta and hot honey on the side, which kept the pizza crispier while I brought it home.

I hope to try a fresh slice at the restaurant someday soon. They have lots of selection between their own creations and the classics. If you are in DC and craving pizza, give them a try!

Parking: Parking here is difficult“

“This beat some of the NY style slices I had even in New York. Just the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. Perfectly sized pepperoni cups. A gorgeous toasty feeling to the freshly heated slice. Started with 3 slices between 2 people and essentially ended up eating a whole pie. Staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. Great brews on tap and a few salads and sides on the menu to go with the pies. Can’t wait to come back“

“It was amazing. Simply amazing. Casual, not luxurious, but so cute. Small yet roomy. And clean. The pizza was incredible. I think they make their tomato sauce themselves. You know how at those fancy pizzerias the taste is good but when you fold the slice New York–style, the tip droops down because it’s soggy? This was nothing like that. It was a huge pizza, but the tip of the slice never drooped. Perfectly crispy.

They also give little packets of oregano and amazingly good chili flakes, which I thought was such a nice touch.

The interior is very charming. I just think the lemonade could have been a bit better. I hope the taste always stays this way.“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Minya’s, and it was fantastic! The pizza was absolutely delicious – the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings fresh, and the cheese melted just right. Whether you’re a fan of classic pizza or looking for something more creative, they have a wide variety of options to choose from. My favorite is definitely the Derho pizza, love the Eritrean fusion of it all!

The service was fast and friendly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal or a night out with friends.

Highly recommend Minya’s if you’re craving some of the best pizza in town! I’ll definitely be coming back.

“Okay. I had this pizza in the summer. It was ok.

For some reason today I got no idea if y'all prayed to the pizza god for a new recipe or something, but that margarita pizza can rival most of NY slices I had. I am actually still lost for words cause I can't describe why was it that good?? ??‍♂️ Crunchy, some flake, sauce was clearly made in house by crushed tomatoes, has sweetness, good char to the crust. The cheese was good. I have no idea what y'all figured out but good freaking job“

“This spot was incredible. Great artisan pizzas with creative pairings & cooked to perfection. The Harambe loved Big Macs and Macha Roni were both SO good. My favorite between the two was the Harambe- which had an fantastic dressing. It truly was a star.

What is something to do so we caught the ferry over to Alexandria Virginia. When we got off the ferry when on King Street saw all these restaurants and we pick Emmy square Pizza.
I chose the pizza half pepperoni half sausage and my girlfriend had some type of deluxe pizza. Both were good and also we sat outside and there was a guy playing the saxophone.

While they were at our request, they had sufficient food for other marina slip holders. The pizza selections were varied and most enjoyable. “Hot take — More restaurants need to be deaf-owned. I can't stand going to a restaurant and having to scream at the person next to me to have a conversation. Surprisingly, there was still music, but they're not blasting it.

The pizza and wine were delicious and paired great with each other! You're not going there for the finest of either, but they're also not cutting corners. We ordered a second margherita pizza immediately after ordering the first one.

Our server was Esmerelda and she was patient with my slow caveman-quality ASL. I was able to mention that it was my friend's birthday and with an ID confirmation, the staff got together and signed "happy birthday," which was a nice and sweet surprise!

I would totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a light meal without breaking the bank. No need to be intimidated by the language barrier either. You can easily point at what you want, but if you want to make more of an effort, you can scan the QR codes at the table to view animated GIFs of the staff signing things you might request like, "beer", "wine", or "parmesean cheese" — the essentials!“

But there wasn't a sense of table service really, you just catch them when you can, know the candle won't get lit even after you asked and teach the server how to swipe the card. I wish they had someone tending to things, but maybe when it's slower it will be better. The pizza was good, and lots of pepperoni. I wished it wasn't quite as soggy in the middle but it tasted good. And the burrata had no flavor, no nice olive oil or pepper, very bland, but it was a hearty portion. Can't complain about the drinks. I can sense when there's no service concept so I hope they get it together.“
