I had Lomo mixto chicken beef and yummy shrimp cooked with just the right seasoning, texture.. the fries soaked up the delicious flavors.. hubby had chaufa and was fully belly happy.. we returned later in the vending to buy tomorrows dinner as they are closed on Monday. “we have ordered from here a few times now and they have great service. delivery is always really fast (always about 30 minutes and we live outside of town). The one time they forgot our drink, we didn't call or anything but the delivery driver came back a little while later and brought us the missing drink! which really impressed me. today I ordered the enchiladas and the red sauce is AMAZING! definetly my favorite thing on the menu now because that sauce is so good!”

“This is a beautiful ice cream shop we usually stop here on our way home. There is a boat for children to play in. There are nicely painted picnic tables. There’s an outside fan to keep customers cool. I enjoy the tiki and beach themed decor and the yellow and pink theme colors. We didn’t wait long for our milkshakes, a few minutes. There is a Connect 4 game the children enjoyed. You can order milkshakes in any of the ice cream flavors which is nice. We’ll be visiting again!”

“I recently dined here and i really enjoyed the food. Delicious and generous serving. The only issue that I found was that the wait staff sends some training, especially the girl at the front door on Saturday, March 5th. Front Door staff should know how to greet customers. I found her very off- putting. It is a shame because her attitude is a negative for your business. Someone needs to take a few minutes to train her. 4 Stars”

“This is a perfect place for a rehearsal dinner before a wedding! We had our rehearsal dinner in early June of 2024. At first, Riverview was hesitant to agree to cook for us as we requested a fully vegan meal. Cindy, the events coordinator, and Bub, the chef at Riverview, discussed this for a while though, and to our delight they eventually agreed to take on the challenge. Alternatively, they allow outside catering to be brought in, but we were happy to not have to deal with that.

Riverview created a feast for our group of 34 people which included parsley potatoes, green beans, salad, glazed baked tofu, wild rice, rolls, and a crockpot of lentil soup. It was soooo well prepared- I literally felt like I could eat this meal every day. Only 4 out of the 34 people in our group were vegan or even vegetarian yet everyone enjoyed the food immensely and were seriously impressed with how delicious the tofu was! We even ran out and Bub had to make more midway through the dinner even because even my meat loving brothers were just obsessed with it and piling it on their plates! With the bar in the room next door, and the complementary water, lemonade, and iced tea stand, we were more than satisfied with the drinks too. Importantly, you cannot beat their prices per person for the dinner (and drink prices at the bar for that matter!).

As the rehearsal dinner was winding down we started taking photos outside with the sunset in the background and it made for such a glorious backdrop to some pre-wedding photos. The view overlooking the course as well as the Wicomico River is simply breathtaking and very romantic.

Vegetarian options: See my full review for more details, but with enough planning ahead, the chef at Riverview, Bub, has proven his talents in cooking vegetarian/vegan food for our rehearsal dinner! His baked tofu was to die for! I cannot comment how well he can accommodate vegetarian/vegan on a day-to-day basis but I know he can do it superbly with advanced notice! We asked them about a vegan rehearsal dinner about 2 months in advance.”

I've been going to Roma's since I was stationed there in 2006, and finally got to bring my wife to see what it was all about. It's a Dahlgren landmark for a reason. If you're in the KG area, make the time to get a meal at Roma's.”
