I stumbled across this place and was excited to try croissants. They were delicious. Fresh and flaky. ?? I also bought a pastry with sweet cottage cheese and jam and it was so good! The nice lady at the counter gave me samples of small pastries to try and now I wish I bought more. So all in all everything was great and now I wish they are closer to DC. ?
The pictures and the hopes of finding a rose among the thorns of neighboring retail space and drab surroundings drew me to this bakery. My first occasion, I was greeted by a lone customer dining at the window table. She said I'd need to shout my presence because the staff were in the back baking. Grateful for the chance to check out the wares in peace, I nodded my thanks to her and silently perused the pastries. Unwelcoming male worker/possible owner. Couldn’t find the daggone place cuz the sign is so faded. The bakery looked like it was empty all the baked goods were removed from the display area.
