“Exemplary! We dined here first because it is so close to the Strathmore concert venue but have been back for a a total of five visits in less than a year. I've never had a bad dish. The pizza is fantastic (crust and toppings, red and white), the salads are fresh, and the side dishes are delicious and fun to share. How many fast casual restaurants serve mussels? Piccoli Piatti has several different versions and all the ones we've tried have been great--save your pizza crust for sopping up the goodness. Service is friendly and efficient. We showed up one Friday or Saturday during the dinner rush. The line was from the counter to the door but it moved quickly. I can't wait to go back! (PS: If you save room--sometimes we don't--there is an ice cream shop several doors down.)“

“I stumbled on this place by accident and it didn’t disappoint! Good bread is the key to every sandwich and they bake their’s fresh. Already off to a great start with a solid foundation. Round 1 was the porchetta sandwich. Good porchetta takes hours to make and is one of those foods that are easy to mess up and a skill to get right. I had my first bite of this sandwich and all I could do was close my eyes, smile, and eat. The flavor of the porchetta was amazing and the seasoned broccoli rabe took it to the next level. I was going to leave half for dinner later but that didn’t happen. No regrets… I’d gladly go back and get a second one for dinner. Round 2 was the cold cut sandwich and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Simple and easy, good ingredients, and the green sauce brings it together perfectly. Not too oily or greasy which is a plus because you can eat your sandwich without needing a stack of napkins. If you haven’t tried Vignola you need to. If you have I’m sure you’re going back just like I plan to.“

But the food….oh, my….outstanding. Best dorado I’ve had. Succulent and well seasoned. Started with a well prepared Manhattan cocktail and a wonderful salad with garlic/anchovy dressing. Can’t remember the name of the dessert we shared (maybe budino?), but it was a delectable way to end a meal. Expensive but worth every penny. Highly recommended!“

“This is a nice quaint resturant located in a strip mall with outdoor dining. We were seated fast. Our server was new but he was friendly and tried hard. He made good suggestions and knew the menu. The cocktails were aces! One of the best dirty martinis I've ever had and I'm a martini connoisser. The food was delicious and well prepared. “I have been twice with my boyfriend and I love the service and food every time. Both times I’ve visited, my server was Danny. He’s super friendly and attentive. Both times I visited I had the rosé ravioli. Which is sooo good. The first time I had calamari it was seasoned beautifully and the second time I had the meatball sliders, which was so flavorful. They also serve foccaccia bread with an olive spread but will bring butter upon request.Vegetarian options: There were plenty of pasta dishes, salads, and several fish/seafood options.Kid-friendliness: They do not have a kids menu. They did offer to make half portions of spaghetti, penne, or fettuccine with butter, marinara or alfredo sauce when we asked. I felt this was a little too fancy for my children and would probably make this a date night option next time instead of a family dinner spot.“

The crust is unlike anything I’ve had before (I love the squared style), the toppings are super fresh, and put on the pizza in abundance (I’ve never felt shorted on toppings), the sauce is good, not to salty or anything, and the cheese they use on the pizza’s is real cheese!!
