“I found High Ground Brewing while on a drive just exploring the area. I didn't originally plan to stop in Terra Alta, but then I saw the sign for High Ground Brewing and decided to check it out. It was such a memorable experience. I wish I had written this review sooner because I wish I could name drop the guy behind the bar that served us. You could tell he was invested in the brewery because he was so passionate about the beer they serve. I mean you know it's good when he says, "I'm going to make you try an IPA" after you say you don't like IPAs. Everything he gave me was excellent. I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend High Ground Brewing if you haven't been here yet. I will certainly be back the next time I'm in the area!“
“This was a spontaneous dinner. We found ourselves there and there was a lot going on. They had a tournament happening in part of the lounge so the staff was spread pretty thin. Our drinks went empty and it took awhile for our food to come out.“
“Absolutely delightful. Very attentive staff. Child friendly. Excellent food cooked well. We were there with two seniors who were a bit overwhelmed by the large portions so if you don't intend to eat a lot splitting a dish might be best for you. Filet, crab cakes, and cowboy steak were big winners. The prime rib was just okay. We will be back next time we are in town.“
“Pawn Run kept popping up on Facebook, the not salty podcast and even signs leaving my neighborhood. We usually go to Dutches, Honi and Firewater. We love those places on the lake. However, this past Saturday we decided to find out what all the fuss is about. Well, we are so glad we tried it! The drinks, food, atmosphere & staff were simply amazing. They had live music that wasn’t too overbearing and quick service all while providing phenomenal drinks and really great food! Try the Smokehouse Nachos and house Margaritas! The best is that it’s walkable back home! We can’t wait to go back!“
