“We recently enjoyed two wonderful dining experiences at La Tavola at Alpine Lake Resort in Terra Alta, WV, and were incredibly impressed both times.

My husband and I had dinner at the pub one evening, and everything was superb. I enjoyed a delicious chicken dish while my husband had a pork entrée that was equally outstanding. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

The following night, we attended a wedding at the resort where La Tavola catered a fantastic buffet-style reception dinner. The bride and groom had selected the menu after attending a tasting beforehand, and it was easy to see why they chose this team. Every dish was excellent, and the entire event was executed flawlessly.

The owners, Alex and Enrico, could not have been more friendly, accommodating, and welcoming throughout the weekend. Every member of the staff was kind, attentive, and eager to help with any request.

La Tavola is a wonderful addition to Alpine Lake Resort, and we are already looking forward to our next trip to the area so we can enjoy another meal there!“

“Casual resort/motel on a beautiful big lake. We stayed one night and played golf. The food at the restaurant was very good. Nothing fancy but hits the spot. Rooms are very plain but it's a place to sleep. Didn't hear any neighbors. Golf was a lot of fun. The course isn't too hard but has some challenges and a mix of dog legs and elevation changes. A few holes on the lake which are nice. Hole 10 is awesome. The conditions are fine, not bad, not great, but the price is right for what you get. Don't think this will be a destination for me again but it was a fun time and recommend if you're in the area.

Food and drinks: Restaurant was good. Get the alpine fries!“
