“What a hidden gem! FIVE STARS!
A friend of mine took me to this place during lunch today, and I was initially lost trying to find it, which is on the main level of the One Church Street Building, towards the rear/back of the building facing Rockville Pike.
Once we ordered our Cheese Burger with some special Korean Spicy Sauce and a Spicy Beef Wrap that we split, we were blown away by the fusion of flavors, quality, the friendly service, and attention to detail.
Highly recommend for a quick, great, and easy lunch!“

“Really enjoyed Kanpai! I love that you get KBBQ, hot pot, and a buffet all in one, so there’s a ton of variety. The meats were well marinated and I also liked trying all the different Southeast Asian dishes from the buffet. The interior is really nice and feels more upscale than most AYCE spots too. My unexpected favorite was the mango sticky rice!! It’s genuinely some of the best I’ve had! Definitely come hungry because there’s so much to try.“

“Friends raved about this place. So, I picked up Bulgogi Bibimbap 😋 and I'm so happy I did!
It was Delish! I'm really surprised that this place wasn't crowded.
The place is simple and nice. There's limited seating inside but there is more seating outside. And the service is friendly. I was hungry but I'll try to remember to take a photo of the food next time. In the meantime, eat here. If you like Korean food, I think you'll ❤ it just as much as I did.“

“Been going here for the past four years my son went today for the first time to have sushi and of course I wanted this place to be his first experience. The staff was patient and kind as well as intuitive and gave him his first ever chopsticks suited for a child learning. He was so excited thank you. The food as always is so good! Love the cucumber complimentary salad always.“

“When the quality of food of some Pinoy restaurants have faltered or deteriorated through time after a big bang opening or having a change of hands from previous owners, Matthew's Grill has maintained a high quality of sumptuous entrées and desserts having reasonable prices and amiable service a throughout the years even pre covid. It is worth every trip from Virginia to Matthew's Grill. Carry on Raymond and crew!“

“Super friendly and super accommodating. This store is top notch. I’ve never done embroidery before and had no idea what to expect, but their products far exceeded whatever expectations I could’ve had. I am beyond pleased with how everything turned out and will definitely be bringing my future business back here. Thanks Gorman’s!“

“First time here! Love this place!“
“There are no gluten free options on the menu. The very friendly staff very kindly created a Philly Cheese Steak plate so I could avoid eating the bun. It was delicious and included the lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo as a side plate so I could add them at my discretion. I highly recommend Sam's Kitchen!“

“Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was good. I had the mango green tea which tasted good to me but some might think it is too sweet. The Taiwanese chicken was tasty. Might be a little spicy. The shrimp fried rice was good and the veggies in all of the dishes were fresh. We would go back.“

“This is probably of the best Chinese food in a while, I’ve stopped eating Chinese food for years and decided to try this place randomly It’s surprisingly really good I got a simple beef and broccoli. The rice was perfect not mushy not dry nor over seasoned. The beef taste like beef and the broccoli didn’t taste Like broccoli, majority of Chinese food spots! This one is a good spot. In my opinion“

“Even factoring in the affordable prices, the sushi quality here is unfortunately below average (or average at most). I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was completely empty. On the plus side, the service was very quick and responsive. I ordered the chirashi and the salmon platter, but both were just so-so. Honestly, this place is probably best suited for travelers passing along I-495 who just want a quick, convenient Asian meal.“

“The Lady is mean not the daughter but the mom, I don't what's wrong with her she always grumpy at me and the rice they don't mixed well when is fried rice you can see lot of white rice spot because they don't mixed well, I like the food but because of her attitude my head hurts alot when I go there ,that's right I don't buy often is really rare that I order food from there, she needs to change her attitude to get more customers.“
“I only order online. Apparently they have a rude counter person. I have no idea what it's like inside --- never have set set foot in it. Anyway, food is always great, always hot, always quick, price is great --- my regular Chinese take out place!“

“There are no words to describe this place. You will never find better food for $12 in your life I promise you that. I was skeptical at first seeing as they are inside a gas station but hands down 10/10!“
