On Monday 03/27/23 I ordered 3 breakfasts meals by the drive thru and the woman who was taking the orders with an Ethiopian accent told me that she couldn't hear me and I answered her with my loudest voice that I want 3 meals so that way she could hear me. McDonald's in Olney is conveniently located and offers fast and correct orders, although mobile orders can sometimes be overlooked. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring prompt service even for individually prepared items like the Filet of Fish sandwich. Despite improvements in service, the busy location may require patience due to long lines. Customers have noted occasional inconsistencies in the food, such as a half patty in a Big Mac and underfilled large fry orders. Recently, some customers have expressed frustration about the drive-thru policy, stating that they can no longer receive water instead of soda in the cup purchased with a meal. This has led to disappointment, especially for those who prefer the convenience of drive-thru service. Additionally, some have commented on the portion sizes, like the small ice cream serving for $4, suggesting that it could be filled up more. Despite these issues, the restaurant remains popular among Olney residents.
