My husband comes here about once a week and he is always happy to see Eric working because he does the best salad chopping and makes sure every customer he serves is happy with their bowl. We came in tonight for 3 salads and surprise Eric was working. We hope everyone gets to experience a salad made by Eric we appreciate him more than he knows.“

“This place was a great discovery for us, as we found it on accident after a youth soccer game. LOTS of flavor options and types of treats, too. Our family got ice cream, dairy free ice cream, and a couple different falvored Italian ices (you can even mix and match flavors, which the kids enjoyed), and we all enjoyed our choices immensely. There was still Gelati, milkshakes, frozen custard, and Jersey pos to choose from on the cold side as well as several other warm snack options (pretzel bites, and funnel fries, for instance).

“This is was so absolutely delicious. It was quiet and classy, perfect for a date night or anniversary. We got for drinks the Hugo spritz and the spicy margarita, which I liked, and would love to try more of their wine list. Then we got the sausage appetizer, which was flaming and delicious, and the soup du jour was very mild and nice. I got the steak Portuguesa which had such a good sauce I was blown away! My partner got the veal Francesca. We also got the baked Alaska, which was also set on fire and charred a little, but was really great to end the night.

The menu is carefully curated, and it shows. This is their second restaurant—the first has been around for over 30 years. They know what they’re doing. Small space, so definitely make a reservation—but bar seating is just as good (we sat there and loved it). Carlos the bartender and the whole staff were amazing. This shop is in Rockville and there’s practically a bubble tea spot on every corner, but this one is worth your time and money. Kevin, the owner, is a super sweet older Chinese man who takes true pride in his teas. You can taste the love and effort. If you need good quality boba at least once a week like me, then this is the place to go! Thanks Kevin!“

As for the other dishes, I think everything tasted good but also nothing blew me away. I would say there are Mediterranean restaurants I like better in Bethesda and DC, but as for Rockville this might be my favorite. Therefore, I probably wouldn't go too out of my way to come here but I think it's a very nice option if you live nearby.“

“Stayed at a local hotel and ordered from Door Dash. SECRET SPICY CHICKEN was great. Pretty much like General Tso's Chinese but a tad spicier. Large pieces of good quality chicken, even the medium order was too much for me. Pair it with steamed white rice, put the rice in the sauce. Very good.“
