“Such an amazing place for afternoon tea -- every detail covered. The ambiance -- check out the hand painted wallpaper-- is just wonderful. The recommended French Breakfast Tea is my new favorite. The pastries and tea sandwiches were divine. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend -- even worth a trip from DC or Baltimore.“
“I was literally finishing the ice cream I got at another local shop (also delicious) when I saw the sign for this delightfully named place. So with my mouth still full of a competitor's product I strolled in, planning to get a small cup of something. As I perused the considerable number of options, I saw one of the staff whip out a kitchen torch to toast skewered marshmallows he then popped into a milkshake. "I want whatever that is." Very much the right decision.“

“Delicious teas, and the Gelato was out-of-this-world! Specifically the tiramisu Gelato, the coffee flavor was complex and delicious, not the burnt flavor you get from most 'coffee flavored' things. Definitely my favorite place in St. Michaels for a sweet treat! The best part though is the service. The owners are warm, welcoming people. I absolutely love this place!“
“We enjoysl the custard at Rita’s and visit the Easton, MD location often. Tonight there was an extremely long line (Saturday) and Lola handled it like a pro. She was upbeat and friendly despite taking care of all those people mostly by herself. I don’t know why her coworker wasn’t helping more but Lola was great.“
“We had a wonderful dinner at Minty's last night, our first time there. When we made the reservation, Theresa, the owner could not have been friendlier! When we walked in all the staff made us feel welcome and happy to be there. We asked to meet Theresa and she came out personally and was so friendly. We were seated and the server came and lit candles at our table. The atmosphere is very homey and also romantic with fairy lights on the wall. Servers were great at guiding us to find our menu items as we had so many different things we would have liked to try. We both elected different versions of fried chicken, one smothered with mushroom gravy. Both were delicious, very well seasoned and crispy. Skillet brownie with ice cream was such a nice presentation too. We chatted with the owner again and felt like old friends by the time we left. We can't wait to return. We really enjoyed also the dish names all honoring Harriet Tubman whose nickname was Minty.“
“I was able to take advantage of their Valentine's Day ordering, and my husband was soooo surprised with his Salted Caramel Ice Cream!!!The best purchase was the Valentine's Cake they offered, and with a limit of 20 available, I was one of the lucky ones. The cake was sublime! It had luscious layers of various ice creams, and the hidden gem was the gooey fudge section, almost like hot fudge, minus the hot!!! The best $40 I've spent in a very long time ( as an Instacart Shopper, it took me 2 orders to pay for it, but well worth the extra effort it took me)!!!I'm definitely looking forward to their spring opening. I highly recommend that if you're in the area of Oxford, MD, it is a MUST STOP!! They also have a sister eatery just across the street, Oxford Social Cafe. I have not eaten their but it looks like a very nice hometown place to enjoy. Both locations will invoke memories of a time long gone.
