“Food was great. I got the cheese steak and fries. Of course a lot of places now a days ask for a tip for virtually doing nothing. I placed my order at the counter and they called me back to the counter to pick up my food. It wasn't worth the tip. I wouldn't recommend tipping.“

“My husband and I were visiting DC in February. The hotel we were at did not have a restaurant. After some exploring we found this little gem. Had a delicious breakfast every morning in DC and never left feeling hungry. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. It was nice to go there in the morning and be recognized. I know those in the restaurant business see a lot of people. To be remembered is something special. We are planning another trip back in a couple weeks and plan to make this a daily stop for us.“

He told me where to buy it and went straight there. Chicken Madness is what I order and at first impression, the sandwich was fresh hot in temperature. Then, when I took the first bite I was reborn. I would love to visit DC again and most definitely stop by for 3 of these amazing sandwiches.“

But what I'm here to post about is cook Mama Lo's AMAZING fish and grits. It's perfect. Real grits, cheese creamy sauce, and the best fish fry in DC. Excellent, bar none. At $15, it's a great big, takeaway dish that can be split between 2 people or eaten over two meals. Or one if you're really hungry. Delicious!“

I go here for breakfast regularly since the pricing is good and the food is filling. If you want to wow yourself, this probably isn’t what you are looking for. If you want somewhere you will likely keep coming back each week and would put into a regular rotation, then look no further. Family owned business, they make the food in front of you. If the wait time is too much for you, order ahead. I’ll continue to give this business my money, they deserve it.“

“The Customer Service is second to none. I love this place they always treat you with respect and appreciate your business. The food is prepared to order and is always hot and fresh. The chicken wings with hot sauce, ketchup and mumbo sauce is the best in the city hands down! The fried fish and tartar sauce is delicious. “I tried both the pastrami and the corned beef on rye with mustard. The corned beef is made in house and the pastrami is not, which is normal enough for a Jewish style deli. The corned beef was very good and the pastrami was I guess ok. Go with the corned beef. The pastrami was too lean and not that tender. The soup of the day which was a white bean soup was pretty good. Two sandwiches and a cup of soup with tax and tip was about $40. That was fine. This is definitely a hole in the wall dive and it is cash only and only open during the week during the day. Don't be surprised if the customers banter each other or the staff or if somebody is selling sheet sets there.“

“This is one of the coolest shops in the northern virginia area. On first glance it looks like a nice little convenience store but it is so much more. First of all, the products are all handpicked quality items, ranging from some novelty and speciality goods such as snacks to more everyday items such as toothpaste and deodorant. The items are all fairly priced and you can find some really rare finds that are truly amazing. The best thing about this shop is it that the family that owns the store are a wonderful bunch, ready to cater to your every need especially if you are a regular here. If you are ever there and Suly, the manager, is available feel free to ask him anything and he will do his best to accommodate you!“

“Randolph Deli has changed owners who provide excellent, friendly service. The store now carries a wide selection of grocery items including diet drinks that aren't usually available and various types of beer and wine. Service is quick and the owners go out of their way to give you what you want. I made a casual comment that they carried a lot of diet soda but not diet Mountain Dew. A week later I was grabbing a few quick things and noticed 20 oz and 2 Liter bottles of it! They now keep it in stock just in case. While waiting for food to cook the owners are even helping me with my French.“

He kindly introduced himself, and led us to our table. This was just the start of all positive things to follow through-out the night. We ended up having a few extra guests but, no problem...they just simply accommodated us without hesitation! With "Joe" the manager, great food, great service (sorry but, I can't remember our hostess' name), and an awesome live band, our birthday event was simply marvelous!
