My husband drives by Lee’s often on his motorcycle and said hey, call Lee’s and see if they have the game on! So I did and this friendly man said yes it’s on and yes we have room! We came into a space clearly full of locals and long time friends. We were invited with open arms, Great conversation, and free food! They all bring food for the game to share with each other. It’s not what you generally see anywhere, it felt like home. We will most definitely go back for another game just not empty handed this time!!!! “Yesterday, I had a 'surprise" 25th wedding anniversary party for my daughter-and son-in-law. It was amazing. Everyone raved about the food. We used a "happy hour" set-up. The private room was set up perfectly. Michael and Kayleigh were attentive to any request of our guests. . The food was superb. The display was appealing to the eye. Everyone had so much fun. I highly recommend Casa Mia's for a casual dinner or a catered party. I thanks to Leah and Mark for all of their in the planning and on the day of the party. Casa Mia's made this a celebration to remember.”

“My family and I love coming to J&B's! We live in MD which is about a 45 minute drive for us and we literally come to PA just to eat here. My husband and I actually found this place a few years ago when going to the Amish market and wanted a good breakfast spot. We have never been disappointed with the food and the service is always amazing! Highly reccomend if you're looking for a place that has great food, services and is reasonably priced.”

I was greeted with a bright-eyed smile by Sara, and when she recognized my trials- she offered a hug & prayers. I won’t soon forget that! “250828 - By the time we reached Sparks, the muffins had begun to take effect; we were low on fuel, having come off the highway, aware wet were close to ‘Empty’ in unfamiliar country. Nervously looking for a gas station, ambling along our way back to Canada after a week in the capital. Some said we were brave to visit, we never minded, soaked it all in, we were just there to check on our American cousins, see how y’all were making out in a rather turbulent time. Loved the rolling countryside and gorgeous homes in the area - hmmm…a preserve of the ‘horsie set?’ we thought. Now, even lower on fuel, we caught the sign and stopped at TFS. We surveyed the place, quirky storefront and round the back which felt surprisingly, decidedly chill. Straightaway, we struck up a conversation with a friendly physical therapist, because we’re that kind of chatty. Had a spontaneous, lovely and wide-ranging chat including the whole family. A delicious milkshake, I think a cookie, and couple washroom breaks later, our new friend sent us on our way to the Exxon down the way and a nearby turnoff to get us back en route to the north land. Felt really good to meet a kind helpful soul along the way, the kind of people we wanted to show the kids, and we somehow knew we would certainly meet on our drive into NY, PA, MD, VA, DC. Now back in the land of the silver birch, home of Lord Stanley’s sport and the ‘double-double,’ I am just reading about your late friend Rosa and how much she’d touched you all and your beloved TFS :) Nice lil place. Glad we got to stop by and say hello :) Best regards, hope to see you again”

“We get carryout dinner here at least 1 night a week. We love all of the Greek dishes, crabcakes, soups, salads and desserts. The turkey and hot beef platters are also very good. (Ask for gravy on the side.) I have never had anything I didn't not like.”

“Fantastic coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. Everyone here is always really friendly and helpful. Their outdoor seating almost always has a table available, and is also covered which I appreciate.
This is a great place for bike repairs as well, I think their specialty is road bikes but they're very knowledgeable about all different types and carry pretty much anything you would need for maintenance. I've come here a couple times for spindles and tubes for my mountain bikes and they've always had what I needed, and for a reasonable price.
All in all one of my favorite local spots, I love this place and the people who work here are great.”

“Loved since we moved to PA in 2002, near the Stewartstown area, back when it was Summer’s. Young people, high school & college age, work there. They are very nice. When I order my milkshake extra thick, they listen. Soooo, yummy. Our kids, grandkids, my mom, and dog love it. Bubby always orders the Puppy Cup, even though he’s 12 now. Rita’s and Baskin Robbin’s are good, but nothing beats Bonkey’s.”

“On July 25th I ordered 1 doz. Large Steamed Crabs ($95) from Madonna Seafood. Madonna "used" to be the best place for crabs. They were always consistently seasoned well....that was not the case yesterday. This dozen was completely dried out...they were either VERY overcooked or my guess is they were re-cooked. Definitely not worth $95....please retrain your steaming team or you will lose business. i will be going elsewhere.”
